His first penalty was one of those bogus "hooking" that doesn't hinder the other player, nor does it affect play calls. I give him the benefit of the doubt on that one. I really liked the spark he showed, and he was finishing checks all over the place. I think if he gets another game or two, those miscued passes and fanning on shots will fade away, and he'll do well for us.

I was listening to XM Hockey this morning (stupid XM suspended O & A) and even the hosts there said that Pronger should be suspended, and they are as anti-Wings as can be. The one guy said Pronger should get 4-5 games to send a message, but they both agreed that he should get at least one.

What would you have said if before the game Hasek said "My groin is shredded, and I'm maybe 50% effective, but I'm going out there anyway," and then got shelled for 8 goals in the 1st because he's not able to play to his level.
