I'm not sure how many Wings games will be shown on VS here, so I was thinking it might be good to find a location that will be showing the games.

Bert and Calder NEED to be resigned. I haven't seen the level of physical play they bring in a while. It makes the games much more fun to watch when the Wings are dishing out punishment, instead of just taking it.

I think the Flames matchup will be good for us this year. I'm glad everyone is scared of the Flames, because you know the team is thinking hard about them too. I think the problem with the past couple of seasons is that we came into the 1st round taking the victory over the 8th seed for granted. I still remember last year: "Edmonton's a joke. LOLoson has nothing. Wings in 4. Maybe we'll be nice, and win in 5" Noone was taking Edmonton seriously. I think it's good that we have a legitimate opponent this year that the team recognizes as a legitimate opponent, and not a pushover. Hopefully we'll come out ready for the 1st round this year.

I think the best comment Hull made was when someone was talking about the lack of respect between the players, and said something about players being dirty, and Hull says "Like Tootoo?" Other than that, I could live without him in the booth.

I agree about wanting a difficult first round. On the one hand, I don't like that if we play a tough team in the 1st round, there's a possibility we'll get bounced (again) in the first round. On the other hand, the playoffs are supposed to be tough, and if we can get rid of one of the scary teams to begin with, it'll be a huge confidence boost. That being said, Calgary is the team that scares me the most right now, so I'd pick them. Give us a chance to exorcise the demons from a couple of seasons back.

What? I'm not entitled to an opinion, simply because you don't agree with it? I've been to Quebec, and it made a less than favorable impression on me. Add that to how crappy their fans treat the team, and why not? It's my least favorite Canadian team.
