Not in the TSN article. I thought the 70 foot lead pass was it, but that was also about the offsides. -

Don't forget the blown icing call that led directly to the Pens goal. I'm shocked Colin Campbell didn't bring that up. -

Where you at Pred fans? Care to defend this garbage? -
I really hope that this series goes 7 games, goes to double OT every game, and the home team loses each time until game 7.
-
Hahahaha. The Nucks were getting abused there at the end.
-
I can't take that guy seriously. Every time I see or hear him, I just hear him from Major League saying "F*** you, Jobu!"
-
It's just return message sending. Back in the day, you even laid a finger on Getzky, you'd pay for it, clean or not.

Which team would piss you off the most if they won the cup?

Pens, Boos, Canucks, Habs, Sharts. But really, anyone who's not the Wings is a lesser of two evils choice. -
That's garbage. Q gets called for a questionable trip, but Dats is blatantly tripped on a breakaway, and that's just good D. Edit: Just saw the replay. Not as bad as it looked full speed. Objection withdrawn.

Quincey!! WOO! Also, Conks needs to stop playing the puck. In the game with GR vs the Stars I went to, he was a brick wall, and only gave up two goals directly related to poor puck handling.

Yes, but then he goes back to fulfill his KHL contract for 12-13, and when he comes back for the 13-14 season, he will be 27 and a UFA. Via Lysenkov, Medvedev said: "He does not intend to sign any long term contract with Nashville. Alexander will satisfy his old contract by playing the end of the regular season and the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Then he will become a restricted free agent in accordance with NHL rules. After that [when Radulov turns 27 and he becomes an unrestricted free agent] he will have a right to sign a contract with any NHL club. "But we believe that next season Alexander will come back to the KHL where the rights to him belong to Ufa. And how [the club] handles those rights, it is up to Salavat Yulaev." http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/why-did-khl-allow-alex-radulov-leave-nashville-211640021.html#more-27977

Not necessarily. He still has a year on his contract in the KHL that they are expecting him to fulfill. I believe the KHL allowed this so he could burn off his last NHL contract, and then go back to the KHL unencumbered. He will be a UFA after next year, so when he comes back he can set off a bidding war.
-
Here's hoping he gets a 2 month long case of the scoots, and ends up not helping the Preds at all, while burning off his contract.

It also has to do with HIPPA laws. Only the player himself can disclose the nature of his injury, or he has to approve the team doing so. They can get around that a little by just saying upper and lower body.
-
What the players seem to forget is that they are not a finite commodity. Most people don't go to a game to see *just* Datsyuk. They go to see the Red Wings as a whole. I'm sure if the owners wanted to, they could find a whole league's worth of players that maybe haven't gotten a shot at the NHL level to fill out their teams. It's got to be a give and take, and with the NBA and NFL lockouts showing, both sides overhype their importance. If everyone takes a hardline stance, which they are showing classic signs of even now, next season will be cancelled or shortened.

I agree, and I felt the same about Maltby. My comment was in regards to the one above which stated "Avery is the type of person that will talk s*** and try to instigate a fight, but then when you are like "OK, thats enough *****, lets go" he runs away..." "...Or the kid in the school yard who wants to talk trash and push other kids, then when he gets punched in the face for it, he runs crying to the teacher." As much as I liked Maltby, those apply to him as well. I think Avery is, was, and always will be a ******. Him against Fatso Brodeur, however, were some of the funniest moments I've had as a hockey fan. Avery won't be missed though.

What a great game by the Griffs. Even without Nyquist or the top D-men, the Griffs looked really good. Conner is a pimp! It seemed like he was everywhere. Bruno and Andersson also looked really good on a line with Pare. The only reason Texas scored the 2 goals they did was the one low spot. Conklin going out to play the puck directly led to both goals. The actual playing goal part he did really well with, as evidenced by his 38 saves.
-
Another game tonight. Bummed that Nyquist won't be playing, but looking forward to watching Bruno, Tatar-salad, and Conk Block.

That is garbage. I don't know why they don't put a stop to this. This will definitely encourage players to ditch out of the last year on their entry level deals, since they can come back and play Franzen's favorite part of the year, and burn that last year off. If the Preds weren't going to make the playoffs, I can guarantee you Poile would be crying foul about Radulov trying to come back.
-
Once the Blues are eliminated from the playoffs this year, this will be cprice.
-
Your title is a bit redundant. Like wet water, or dry desert.

There is no requirement that he try and play the puck in that situation, so not sure how that makes it illegal. Letang had just had possession of the puck, so it wasn't a late hit. The ONLY thing that is a bit questionable is that Letang got grazed in the chin, but he ran into Nystrom's bicep, there was no elbow or anything there. Head was not principle point of contact, so there should be no Shanaban.
