in order to add the new players in with the older, what you do is rest malts for a game or too letting in the younger players, or like they have done reduce his role, giving more min. to younger players. Maltby deserves to retire a wing, whats next get rid of draper, some of you have no respect for what they have done.

I was just thinking about this because everyone was talking about Probert. My roomate is a Av's fan but I have turned him into at least liking the wings, anyway all season when watching these cheapshots and talking about needing an enforcer I'd say god I wish we had Probert back and this and then, all my roomate would do is just say shut up basically saying you don't have him get over it. But about 3 days ago I ended up showing him some Probert clips on youtube; after that he was like WOW i love Probert I understand now why you would want that crazy sob still playing, and then I told him about Kocur and those 2 were on our team, he wasn't aware of the old school wings when all they could do was kick ass, sorry for the story but just reminded me of that, oh and I think Hartnell or Lappeire spelling is wrong is what we need.

I don't know if these even is going to be a great thread or anything, but I read in the Vladdy thread someone saying that at least the Illitch's will stay by his side. I just wanted to agree with him in saying I think we have some of the best owners in any sport, I mean do other owners care about there team or town as much as them?<---not retorical, if you know of some please answer. All I do is see how Illitch is loyal to the players, and will keep players after there prime even if they no longer really belong here, but just because of loyality and I find that amazing. Plus he and a few others are pretty much cleaning up downtown by themselves because he loves Detroit, imagine if we didn't have a piece of s*** mayor there. Now if he could only run for mayor and buy the Lions I think we'd be set, hopefully whoever it gets passed onto has the same passion he does.
