In the Wings defense(no pun intended), we haven't played defense the entire season, why start now?

am I the only one who thinks this situation should just end, I mean Nabby was not that great the last few years and he could be even worse now. Yeah he would be a good back up, but at this point it doesn't even seem that worth it.

What we've learned: Helm/Flip step up when needed Hudler has finally caught up to the game Lidstrom can't catch a break (but it was one of his not so great games) Most importantly OUR YOUTH IS BEAST! Emmerton and Murzak should be stealing 2 spots next season, and Kindl has looked pretty ******* good!

The postive Tatar, Murzak, Emmerton all played great, kindl played good all our young players show they can compete every night on the roster. Then negative, the players we rely on to actually do something seem to be playing like s***. . Plus why have we been playing like such ******* all season, you'd think we'd have gotten gritter by the subtraction of Williams alone. But for some reason we play like such *******. They turned it up before in the playoffs so I think they can do it again. But hell we can't clear the zone or even make a ******* check, it's getting real old. Plus 4 ******* goals a game is a joke, it is defense at this point considering no matter who is in net they get scored on like a half dollar hooker. Datsyuk should be in net, hell he's already our enforcer

Seems to be a lot of hate for a player who is hurting nobody but himself in this comeback. Props to him for wanting to continue to play in the NHL and prove himself, but I highly doubt it will turn out well. I didn't think he could stay healthy in the SEL or in general, I don't know how he thinks he can last in the NHL years older, and out of the game. Hell it seems like players from KHL or SEL have taken a while to adjust after only being out a year, I don't know how a player gone for 3 years with major surgeries can be much better.

why not just wait for them to put Giggy on waivers if that were the case?

couldn't he just refuse his assignment if claimed? Besides it's not like he was setting the world on fire in the KHL (from what I've heard)

Matt Millen seems to be doing a good job at that as well

It would be nice if Babcock would talk about the defense, at least acknowledge that it has played like s*** lately. Lidstrom actually looked bad this game

It sure would be nice if our 2 biggest guys on offense didn't play like such ******* (Bert/Franzen) Hell I don't even care that much if they play like ******* at least show up to the damn game!

To be honest I get a bit embarrased watching Redmond and Daniels when with my friends who are fans of other teams. Daniels is always saying that's a hook or interference he got away with and Redmond is always bitching. It gets a bit old, I could def. see why opposing fans would think they are big homers (not the worst by any means, but come on man)
