I hope for a defensive focus, but I believe d is the most important position for how the wings play. So I'd focus my 1st on the best dman available, then 2nd on a pure scorer

The sad part about this statement is that it is usually correct. But Lebda has been so bad that everyones hate about his play has been justified.

agreed, he looks like Bert in the fact they are making things happen, but they just can't finish. I really wish Datsyuk could get going also

At the same time Col. has been lucky with both goaltenders playing very well. They have been outshot and for most of the games only bursts of offense. So if we are going by pure goaltending it's not absurd to think Col. is just as lucky as PHX.

exactly how I feel about this team. At certain times (well most of the times aside these last 2 games) we have not looked good. But we have still managed to keep up with everyone else, I'm also happy that Eaves/Helm/Abby have made it very hard for players coming back from injury and players in the line up to justify playing over those players. I'm also happy J-ho has shown he can start for us (for now). Although I don't have faith in Big Bert keeping pace I'd be very excited if he did.

I'm so glad we finally won, and a nice come from behind. I do like the emotion they are starting to show after a win it's a change. I keep hoping that they carry that emotion into the next game and start building off of it. Now I know our stars look like crap and we are looking bad, but some how we are still pulling out wins and we are going to be bringing some of our better players back. In the end this could be a very positive, we see J-ho looking good, Abby is loved, and Helm/Eaves have been awesome. When players do come back we will get to see some interteam competition. I HOPE WE WIN Tomorrow

Ericsson is playing like s***, but as pointed out earlier I believe he is logging in a lot more minutes then most rookies though. Edit: Especially with all the injuries to the defense, you also have to keep in mind he isn't playing with top 4 partners, and for the most part the forwards haven't done any favors.
