seems to me you are just trying to find a way to blame this on 2 players you dislike. Regardless if Flip went +6 you probably still would hate him and question why he didn't go +7. Flip has been one of if not the best player on the team so far this season.

comes off dirty to me, he seems to focus on nothing but hitting him in the head. Hope Booth is ok, it is dirty but wasn't insanely out of the realm of hockey and will always happen; basically it's a borederline with a s*** happens moment (I've been drinking)

The only thing that bothers me is wondering if Babcock, Jimmy, etc actually believe we will turn it around. I know they won't ever say it to the media, but I'd like to know if they actually believe in this team.

ahh yes, because Osgood has really been piling up those wins. Why are you so willing to throw Howard under the bus yet Ozzy seems exempt.

you make it sound as if 3 goals is good for 60+ min of hockey, it also isn't always about the GAA or % (as a Wings fan you should know this more then most) it's about the type of saves, that are made. So once again I think Ozzy has only played one very good game this season, you aren't going to change my mind so why bother arguing that with me.

I would say the Chi (think it's the right game)start is the only one I have been impressed with. The others to me he's made very average saves and any potential bail out save he has let in; all goalies have stolen some goals except Ozzy. But I will concede that goalies do take more a brunt when it comes to a lose then most and maybe I am a little harder on him for expecting him to steal something. But I still don't believe he has played well.

we obviously have a difference of opinion and neither will be changed so theres no point in arguing.

at this point I don't know but there are goalies (anderson) who were in the same price range and playing light years better right now; though I think the av's are going to burn him out by the playoffs. I also am pretty sure by the time Mule comes back the cap won't matter (not 100% sure though) I would hope if we do have a trade we send Meech/Lebda combo out with it.

and I know this is a complex concept, but keepers are supposed to show up every once and a while. I'm not an Ozzy basher because I could careless who's in goal if they play well. I also am not worried with him in goal during the playoffs, but to not have any of this horrible atrocity we call red wings hockey blamed on Ozzy is absurd. I think Lebda is pure garabage and aside from Stuart and Lids I really haven't been too impressed with the defense. I think it bothers me more that certain people are so willing to throw anyone BUT ozzy under the bus (when he deserves it) He's made maybe MAYBE a handful of clutch saves.

yes god forbid we actually expect our goaltender to actually stop a goal, crazy us. I don't give a s*** how cheap Ozzy is, with Lebda not doing his job people scream trade, with Maltby even doing his job people scream trade, but with Ozzy playing like s*** he still gets a pass. Watching the Av's makes me wish we had a goalie in the last 2 years (regular season) that could keep a team in games, and not have to win inspite of.

come on now, osgood didn't make a single save that was difficult. It's sad when fans have to cheer for him stopping a pint blank shot. Anderson made amazing saves on the other hand.

Get the team to play with heart, the problem is you can't just turn heart on and off. We are still probably the most talented team in the league, but as exposed in the finals, talent and heart will trumph over just talent.

I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure most of the money is coming from players who will retire and Lidstrom (who we hope signs for less)

So teams should model there franchises around a team that played in the 70's (b/c the league hasn't changed) with the talent pool located right in its backyard, not as many teams in the league, oh and let's not forget before a ******* salary cap. Good luck with that, what a ******* idiot. Another favorite, yes Lidstrom is overrated because as always you want your #1 dman getting penalties, lord knows the #1 shouldn't be on the ice to play the pk instead....... Lastly, losing Chelios? really Chelios? Who wrote this comment? Chelios? oh one more we lost a lot of speed in Jiri ******* Hudler, Sammy, Kopecky, everyone knows they were bruisers with blazing speed..... I'm not even trying to say we deserve top 5 or we won't struggle, but if you are going to argue that at least put some logic behind your points.
