4/2 wings

ZDH Leino-Flip-Hossa Hudler/Cleary/Mule Sammy/Helm/Kopecky line1) obvious line 2) Leino should play top 6 min. if he is on the roster, Flip works well with Hossa and is finally starting to wake up. Both Hossa and Leino can even create there own if need be. We would have 2 great shooters on the line and a good passer. line 3) Hudler with his quick shot, Cleary with the driving to the net, and Mule seems to work well with Hudler. line 4)Sammy agitates, Helm is aggressive and like to hit, and well Kopecky tries to hit, Sammy can be the shooter, Helm setting up, and Kopecky driving the net. Lids/Raffy Kronner/Big Rig Stuart/lilja Either Big Rig or lilja could play 4/6 dman I just feel they are more willing to play stay at home; we know Kronner like to pinch, so I normally would put Lilja at 4 but in the past he hasn't been to successful with that time. Stuart has been playing a bit sloppy so giving him less min. would help. Conk Ozzy coach: Babcock, benusmc

apparently your only allowed to ***** if they lose, or compliment if they win. It is that clear cut, we also aren't allowed to have our own opnions
-
Either D/Z are hurting or just trying to save energy or are injuried b/c they have not looked normal, although Dats did have some nice take aways. Lids actually looked really good he even started a small scrum it looked like, cover Raffy's ass. No chance Big Rig isn't on the playoff roster he looks better then Meech/Lebda/Chelios/Kronner/Stu/Raffy, not that I'm saying they are bad but he has played MUCH better and I wasn't sure why everyone was all about him at 1st, he saved a goal tonight. Raffy really needs to get his ass and soon. 2nd part completly agree they didn't look good.

in other news Brashear lost to Belak in the Cap/Preds game
-
I think that is why most are unhappy, they weren't working very hard. The defense did look better, but they really weren't setting up in the zone at all. The only players that looked good were Flip/Kopecky/Big Rig everyone else had about an average game; were they do there jobs but nothing out of character. D/Z looked ok but weren't as impressive as usual. Raffy for the most part had another horrible game even though he scored he gave away the puck a few times. Lids looked good as usual and Conks for the most part played well; didn't really rob anyone. Chelios time has passed 4/4 minn/sj

3/4 sj right now. Anyway I think we will probably pull it together on playoff time. Of course someone needs to punch Raflawski in the nuts and ask him wtf he is doing?
-
I think Kopecky has been a force lately, and Flip today looked great
-
we got lucky, looked s***ty on offense, d is getting there. Kopecky/Flip were are best players tonight, and Big Rig looked great i wasn't all on his nuts like most on here but he is winning me over.
-
mule for the win
-
how the yotes were able to hold the line that long and wait to be onside while no wing iseven attempting to touch the puck is beyond me
-
that's what i said
-
if the players aren't why should the fans?
-
wtf is raflawskis problem?
-
so much for coming out w/ fire tonight
-
apparently a few people have never been in a fight or around people that do, because on any given fight someone can land a "lucky" blow that knocks someone else stupid. Either way at least he stood up for himself, it's not like he figured these would be the results.
-
great idea, except the insulting the Yotes fans it's not there fault they have the s***tiest coach in the league
-
or Bobby Orr (HEY! a man can dream)
-
well I'm expecting a 4/1 win by Detroit Homer/Rafalski/Flip/Franzen
-
I certainly hope not, remember he just came back from a wrist injury and he would get in some s*** wearing a cast anyway.
-
yeah I would agree with that, I always bring this up but if anyone remembers his first call up a few years ago against the Flames he was a machine, and destroyed everyone on the ice. Now his hitting is pretty bad and he no longer fights at all. But I wonder if the hitting has more to do with his leg injury, I say this just because he is now actually looking a bit bigger, going for stronger hits, and not falling every 15 sec.

Would the Wings be better off had they Pursued Goalie Instead of Hossa
ben_usmc replied to a topic in General
Much better question, I would prefer to try and get Hossa for around 6 and let Franzen walk, that way we can keep Hudler, pay Leino his money and throw a little extra at a goalie. Once again a Pens fan ruined when he comes a trolling, now the Wings are slow. What's next we are old? I mean come on now, in his opening topic he talks about the need for a goalie, which insinuates that is the major problem with the wings not speed. Then whats the excuse for the "slow" wings beating the s*** out of his fast young Pens. Besides before talking about 1st exists maybe your team should make the playoffs. -
Take down has to be the most overrated part of a fight unless there is some sort of clear domination by it, ex: Rafalskis body slam. But when your getting punched in the face and you take someone down it really isn't that amazing. The last I'm not quite sure what showing Kopecky getting hit with a borderline check shows?

so you're saying Hossa seems to be as healthy if not healthier then Pitts. lover boy crysby? -
people talking about things they can't change on a message board quite shocking . With your logic why do we even have a ******* message board we can't change a damn thing about the wings why bother discussing anything.
