Your right, but to dismiss everything he said isn't right either, his cash per production is worth him on the team alone. Maybe if he cost us defensively for his point production you would have a valid point, but you just don't like Sammy and probably no matter what he does you won't. Granted we all would prefer him on the 3rd line but he is a worthy player to SUB in if an injury occurs and I don't mind him on the team.

Now, that is smacking someone with logic and fact. Nobody claims he is amazing but he gets the job done and is underpaid if anything. He gets the worst rap for no really good reason.

I'm not hostile at all about it and actually I'm indifferent to Sammy. I just think for the money he is worth he does a good job, and no Mark Hartigan would not do as good as Sammy.

Please tell me his contract compared to the others. I'm not saying he is better but he certainly isn't getting paid as much as few of those names yet has produced just as much. If you just dislike Sammy thats fine but that arguement is weak.

def. an underrated player. There really is no great reason why people hate him, there just always has to be one. Since he doesn't have Dats moves or fights like Downey then he gets a bad rap.

and yet people still think Minn. will make the playoffs, sorry but the whole NW is overrated a bunch of good teams at the same level, none really will compete for a Cup until maybe a few years.

Why doesn't Chelios just sit out for most of the season and sign at the trade deadline? That way his cap. won't hurt but he will still be part of the team.

Sorry I maybe the minority but he reminds me to much of Dats to give up on him yet. I know he may never become that level but you can just see both sides of his game yet they haven't connect, but when they DO. WATCH THE f*** OUT.

Not that we NEED IT, but I really see us having both Downey and Mac if they are willing to go for min. because we will need even more protection now that the ONLY way a team will be able to slow us down is to just cheapshot us. But I do agree the top lines can for the most part take care of themselves.
