I think the Wings could work the Hawks right now with how the line ups stand. I like Tootoo a lot, but you just can't change success against such a dangerous team at this point.

The Avs are such a terribly run organization. So you mean to tell me they are going to have a rookie GM, with a rookie coach, running a young team. Yeah that's a real recipe for success, who's next years #1 draft pick because they will be a lotto team again.

That's fine, I think a majority disagree with you though. He was responsible for a 2 goal swing alone (Not shooting/not covering his man). Anytime he touches the puck he turns it over, he will try to skate into the zone, dump it to them, or trap himself against the boards and have it taken.

Cleary is the worst player we've had in a while. I think the only reason he has points is because pucks bounced off him. I swear he is the Brandon Inge of The Red Wings we can't get rid of this guy. Tootoo couldn't possibly be worse.

But hockey you have to play both sides at certain points. Obviously you can be terrible and they still could have scored, but people are complaining about the lack of effort.

You could tell the Ducks were going to win that game before a single goal was scored. They just brought it in every facet. Also I'm glad we have depth because Abby will probably be gone 3 games in my opinion.

I must disagree. I think Nyquist is the next Datsyuk. Also our GR youth is pretty sick, I haven't watched much of them, but followed talks and I wouldn't sleep on someone like Jurco. I think we at least have 1 elite talent in our system. I like Flip but not at $5 million, he is replaceable for sure.

I wouldn't make any changes to the line up, the team has been playing well together for the last few weeks. Just because they lost tonight doesn't mean we need even a small shake up. Unless of course we are dropping Cleary, I'm always in support of that. I do have to give the devil his due; Cleary played better then expected for sure, but of course he would have a goal like that.

I thought the Wings played good enough to win, and Hiller just wasn't going to let it happen. A few people on this board should really reflect on their opinions before they express them. They scream the Wings will be a lottery pick at the beginning of year. Then when that changed, we are just going to be medicore, then we won't make the playoffs. Now we do make the playoffs, those same people previously stating we won't do anything, are now complaining about us losing Game 1, against the number 2 seed, at their rink, and with a terrible line up and combos all year long (according to majority of the board). So which is it, is it SC worthy and under achieving or is it a lottery team that is over achieving?
