I heard that Kopecky takes a long time to adjust but when he does he then becomes a beast. I could be wrong but I recall a few fans saying that.

I have to say I agree, I really was hoping DMAC would make an impact but he really hasn't earned a place, not even an attempt to fight...... Abdelkader came out looking great and makes you really wonder what he'll look like with proper training and more time. I say give DMAC and Abdelkader the CHI game and see who wins out.

Sammy is a decent player, he is at the very least worth his paycheck

Lebda never gets any credit, neither does Sammy. They are paid for their talent level, Lebda isn't bad and Sammy is a decent paid 3rd liner who has to play 2nd. Everyone here just needs someone to totally blame losses on. I know their is plenty of other players better but we have a cap so for the price they are good. If anything maybe we should start asking why Z, Hol, Flip, Hudler, (Sammy; but i think everyone expects more out of the others) are all at considering they are the real dependents on scoring. People complain about Maltby, Draper, Drake they aren't their for scoring if they can great but their primary job is to shutdown another teams offense. Please give it a rest for at least 2 days.

Why not just put him in some sort of trade deal, that makes much more sense. Quincey/Meech/Ellis/Kopecky/Hudler are the most likely we'd be giving up for someone it just means we'd have another player to offer

I liked what Downey did especially because Lappy is an ahole and rarely loses, last 2 fights he's looked good. I want Drake to start fighting again, but I think he's been improved lately too. Lastly they need to get Kopecky fightinng, with the grifs the only fight I saw he beat the dudes ass, and he did pretty good against Sharpe?

not that I'm saying Hudler, meech, or sammy could get a ton. But just as much as some overvalue them I think others undervalue. Sammy was a decent scorer with decent d and is extremely cheap. Hudler doesn't get much icetime but up until recently showed he can put the puck in the net with limited min., lastly meech ANY defensive player that is coming from Detroit probably gets much more looks then other teams, though I don't think that would get us Hossa I'm just saying
