With all these great prospects at GR how come they are so bad? Or at least I'm told they are, I don't follow them

After tonight I wouldn't mind having him back if proven. Couldn't they sign him to a contract and just have him in the press box, or I don't know one way and two way contracts to well, but could they sign him to a contract involving him coming and going from GR but not be able to be picked up off waivers?

I'm not even trying to debate whether Kopecky is good because I think eventually he could turn himself into a decent player, but I mean if your going to give him a fighters mins., you might as well just put a fighter in.

I don't think he is much better then Lilja; of course I don't HATE Lilja like most here do. The only improvements I could see from having Blake is mean streak/better offensvily and I would imagine if we bring Blake in Lilja would be leaving at the same time, so if Blakes a rental that would make our ability to bring up the prospects next season much easier.

I hope Babs starts dressing Downey more if he isn't going to play Kopecky at all because it seems all the wings losses have been because they are getting hit, today was no different except I'd say half way through the 2nd the Wings started hitting back.

everyone seems to be forgeting something that has gone through the NHL time and time again, what goes around comes around, but please don't ***** when someone puts him out of the game saying it was classless he'll have it coming if not for past incidents then for possibility of future.

the only problem with having him is that we don't have a true heavyweight to protect him so he wouldn't be as effective, sure he can fight middle weights but you know who heavys would take runs

I suppose if we could get blake for one season at 2.5-3 and maybe trade Lilja and Meech/Quincy/Sammy then I would be for it just because he leaves next season and it clears out our blue line to bring in youth with 1 or 2 spots, and I don't mind Sammy either way.

with the way people talk about Sammy you would think he f***ed their girlfriends, not everyone on the team is a datsyuk with a salary cap you are going to have players that are flawed, just watch if we trade away Sammy and or Lilja, this board will be quick to spit their venom on someone else, unless of course its Zetta or Lids.

You must keep in mind that Lilja is LGW's whipping boy, he could get a hattrick every game during the playoffs but some how posters will still find a way to complain. I don't Blake contract but I assume its much higher then Lilja, and for the price I would say Lilja is a better value.

why seems like a great guy, my friends parents met him in AZ and said he was such an approachable person, after that I started liking him, considering the 2nd best player of all time is down to earth is great. Plus the Yotes really seem like a good up and coming team

some players no matter what they do will never gain any respect here which is pretty sad really. We all know Lilja is not the greatest but come one I can think of far worse 4-6 d man in the League then Lilja, WE HAVE A SALARY CAP for that reason alone he has been playing good, so congrates to Lilja now if we could just get Kocur to teach him and Mule to fight
