He really shouldn't get much more then Dats, yes he is the finisher on the line, but without Dats he wouldn't be where he is either. They are one in the same, THUS EUROTWINS

I swear wings fans opnions of players change direction quicker then the winds. Just look at this way, we may only be talking about our 3rd and 4th lines, but at least those lines are doing so well that we have arguements because of that, and not because one are only one dimensional

If anything I would say Zetta's amazing point streak is mostly due to Dats, I mean Zetta is great but without Datsyuk setting him up, IDK

I'm sure he'll keep that in mind. I was indifferent to the guy but now I hope he lights the NHL for or against us just so all of you assumining people would just be humbled. You all act as if you have been put in the situation and have taken the harder road. I know very few people in the world that would take the hard way as oppossed to the easy money. Unless he's scoring like Zetta he is useless. I mean come on you guys act as if we have such a s***ty team, I think management knows what they are doing. Its just annoying to see how bad you people flame some of these guys Kopecky/Sammy. I'm not a big fan of either but everyone here has a hard on for Flip who i like also but seem to forget he has brought s*** to the table yet either, as a matter of fact I believe he is the antiscorer. Give people a chance its still early.

How long will it take to completly heal, because I think I'd prefer to just let Drake catch the rest, and sit out. I don't think he'll be nearly as effective in his role with a sheild on. Either way Drake was a great pick up this year.

no but if he is going to be what is supposed to be why should he be in the AHL, maybe it is all in his head but to say that just because somebody has been in the AHL doesn't mean they deserve a spot more then somebody who wasn't. Personally I don't care what the wings do with him as long as we win. How exactly is he lazy, also? Because he came in out of shape doesn't make him lazy. Just means he can't at the moment keep up with the speed not that he doesnt want to. Until I see him taking shifts off on a consistant basis like Lang I'm not going to just say he sucks. At least wait and see before you totally right the guy off

yeah and f*** Crosby/ Zetta/ Dats/ Ove who the f*** do they think they are not spending time down in the AHL while the greatness of Ellis/ Bootland/Kopecky all have to take the tough road. f*** talent and the wings desire to win

man their is a lot of assumptions running around on this board, both for and against the guy. How about we wait and see what he can do with an NHL line up before we totally write the guy off. 1. we don't know what went on in Russia for why he is out of shape? strike one because we only see it for what it is, 2. hasn't done s*** in AHL, well a lot of players that have, haven't done s*** in the NHL and some who haven't done s*** in the AHL have been good in the NHL, 3. Linemates, regardless the 3rd line in the NHL is probably better then any line the Griffs have, so he will have improved teamates.4. we've only heard Hollands side of the arguement and its a safe (assumption) that he may be saying all this because just in case we do dump this prospect everyone has been wanting to see for years, he can make it out to be Grigs fault. 5. Lastly, I don't like that he wants to come up right away, but I don't blame him either. I would call about 90% of you liars out there that would say he would rather start from the bottom of a company and work his way up with paychecks of $10 -15 as oppossed to starting at management making $50 an hour instead, work smarter not harder- is it the right work ethic:no, but is it everyones reality: yes. I only hope one of 2 things happen though, he either shows everyone why he is so desired and does good (only goodnot great because Pavel wasn't anything special his first season here on a 3rd line with a lot better teamates the Grigs will have), or he realizes that he isn't ready yet for the NHL but knows he eventually will be on the big club and goes back to Griffs for some extra training.

I'd take Oneill for sure or Doan, offer up in some deal any of these players: hudler, flip, kopecky. Lilja, Sammy. I'd hope for the last three to though.

what about putting meech, kopecky, sammy and a draft or something for Doan, none are amazing but sill enough guys to devlop or use as trade bait as well?

Hawks for sure earned this game, I really think maybe some of you should stop watching hockey if you want to scrap the whole team after ONE game without a point. Once again remember last season begining, none of them played well, some bad calls, and lazy in the 2nd and 3rd. Though I agree with one statement, they seem to be missing something, there is something off about the team.

all we wings fans do is *****, Lilja has been much improved which leads me to believe that maybe he will get even better through out the seasons, nothing ever satisfys people here. ITS CALLED A SALARY CAP

they need to not give them so much ice time though, save them for the playoffs
