Same can be said about the Finnish ones. There was this one really old guy,Pentti Lindegren,who was great but he's retired now. Well,actually he was just funny. He could say just about anything by accident. Once I remember him saying that Dallas traded Juha Lind for Steffi Graf. ! And I'm not kidding.

I just stay up for every game,regardless if it's broadcasted here or not. I was so tired after the last time we won the Stanley Cup,I basically slept only every other night. But I loved every second-same again please!

Come on now! Williams had a contract with the Wings,Ozolinsh w/ NYR etc. etc. Having a contract doesn't mean that he'd automatically play for the Wings that long. Trades happen. And if a player is underachieving,he could always be placed on waivers too. See above.

About game stealing: Winning goalie's team has to lose the SOG's,preferably hugely. Colorado has outshot their opponents in 9 of their last 12 games- for example against CGY 42-19,@Edmonton 46-22 and against San Jose 40-24. Not much stealing necessary in those games. But I get your point(s) too. Believe me-I'll really hope I'm wrong about this, if there'd be a Preds-Avs 1st round matchup.

You have a point, but look below. I think Edmonton & Anaheim had better defense (and playing system) than the Avs have now. And that's exactly why I'm not scared of them,if great defense doesn't directly win championships - it certainly helps a lot.

Avs might be hot right now,but Budaj (or Theorode) isn't Roloson/Kipper/Giguere-type of game stealer IMO.
