Elkund says these players are on the Detroit radar.
FinRedWing replied to Majsheppard's topic in General
Even the crappy players that no one seems to want are still way better than our top six forward & our "playoff-beast". -
Nobody shouldn't sign Niinimaa,he pretty much sucks nowadays. I bet many European teams are also sending their contract offers to these guys.
-
I'm not worried at all. It is time to let the kids play unless Kenny can pull off a monster trade, remaining UFA's pretty much suck or they aren't 2nd line players.
-
Yashin is going to take Filppula's 2nd line minutes?
-
So basically "Lets get eliminated again"?
-
I voted for Drake. People at the LGW are waiting for him to bring grit and hit often. I'm getting the impression that he has to lead the league in hits or it'll be whipping boy time.
-
After reading 13 pages of this thread,I'm expecting Drake to lead the league in hits AND suspensions. All this for $550k?
-
I'm sorry Aussie,Ana lost as soon as I joined her bandwagon. But thank God Rico Suave didn't win! I'm not a fan of Federer either, but he clearly is the lesser of two evils.
-
We wouldn't get a 2nd-liner in exchange to 30+ scorer and a playoff beast? Sure we could IMO.
-
I disagree,we should wait until 2011,'cause then there will be huge UFA's on the market. Sigh. It's the same story every year...
-
Absolutely! He'd bang 'em in like Kopecky.
-
Well they might be. Henkka is from the same town. I'm sure Ville has many friends,he's just regular average Joe. Nieminen doesn't act like a NHL-millionaire,he's even known to be a bouncer in a local striptease bar during the summers. Just for fun,I guess. And he probably knows the owner.
-
I didn't even bother to read the first page. He's not what we need,or has someone already claimed he has feistyness & grit and we should sign him? Oh God, I hope not. I predict that the first time someone won't start the annual Bondra-thread will in fact happen in the same year Peter dies of old age (2060).
-
Ok,I'm in the Ana Ivanovic bandwagon! Listen to this old mantra: Never support Rafa!
-
He has to be,or else he just isn't NHL-material. Jeez, how many years the kid needs? Is he ready 2015? So would Reem. Nieminen signed a contract with Swedish club Malmo on June 12th. Not sure if he has a NHL-clause in his contract,he seemed pretty determined to play in Sweden next season when I saw his interview.
-
I just noticed you predicted the same thing in the "Holland: Free Agent Shopping is Probably Done"-thread.
-
Thank God Semenov's now off the list - thanks Andy Pred 48 ! I mean Kenny's probably going to sign someone who hasn't been mentioned here at all, someone who'll really surprise us. Remember there weren't many "How about Greg Johnson - Get it done Kenny" threads last year...
-
I find myself agreeing with Crymson (first time in weeks ),none of the remaining forward UFA's who were left after July 2nd are not what we need. Kenny chose the right path here,re-sign Hasek & Huds and still got cap space to make trade deadline interesting. I'm thinking there will be a one more surprise signing - a la Greg Johnson.
-
- Thank God there isn't a GM in this league who'd take Lilja/Maltby/Kronwall in a trade,'cause they're all beasts. -Hudler would win the Rocket Richard Trophy if Babs gave him a spot in our 2nd line.
-
I know. I meant that the topic title seemed a bit off, there's no way Hnidy would get ice time in the Wings unless our defense is crippled sometime during the season.
-
You must've meant Hnidy a Griffin? Right?
-
30 goals + and a Cup for $880000,I'll take it! Tell me you just didn't... Did Disney already confirm there won't be a 4th Pirates-movie? This is from the Ask NFM#25 a Question-thread:
-
You know I could still join the Ana Ivanovic bandwagon. I'm not necessarily a true Jankovic fan,I just had most of my betting done trusting she'd win. I did bet on 3 ladies: Jankovic,Vaidisova & Ivanovic. So needless to say that I'll be rooting for whoever wins the Ivanovic-Vaidisova match.
-
Crymson is going to love this plan.
-
I wonder if Teppo Numminen is now considering other options,I'm sure he's thinking that Buffalo might not be the place where he'll finally win the Cup.
