Yeah he signed a contract over a week ago -June 15th,which was surprising 'cause he would've been UFA July 1st. I'm under the impression that he's actually going to play there at least for one season,I think he hasn't got any kind of NHL clause in his contract.

Yes indeed. Excellent signings. Who's picking Man Utd for treble next season? I am,if they sign another forward. I know I should dislike Man Utd because I'm a Leeds Utd fan,but for some reason I don't. My girlfriend even bought me a official ManU Champions of 2006/07 season t-shirt from London. Partly just for fun,but still... Shame on me. Come on Leeds!

You're right. But stupid trades happen once in a while. Thornton-trade,80 % of the trades the Islanders have ever made etc. These kind of bargain trades are extremely rare,but possible at the same time. Waiting for " GET IT DONE KENNY! " replies...

Exactly. I talked with some of the scouts in the U18 World Championships and they said that there might be 9 players who'll really become excellent NHL-players,that's the optimistic number. Picks from 10-30 have potential to be good and there's isn't much between them,it's a question of what kind of player teams are looking for. So Kenny & Co could get even better prospect with 29th pick than somebody with 10th.
