I agree about the wings shots, but I dont think the Pens are outplaying the wings one bit. That second was almost like most of game 2. Boring with wings conrolling play but not getting anything done

Now, a Dion Phaneuf leaving his feet to hit Rutuu might, but you see my point. I believe the "leave your feet" rule is so guys dont get hit in the head, and to be honest, when Kronwall leaves his feet, he doesnt hit anyone in the head.

Honestly, I used to respect Therrian, like, I really did, but now, I am not so sure. Babs hasnt even really complained about the dissalowed homer goals throughout the playoffs, and IMO thats worse than "obstruction" Plus, if the Pens think what the Wings are doing is "obstruction" and they can't win with it (although they did in game 3) then they arent much of a hockey team are they? Its playoff hockey, what they see as obstruction, I see as relentless backchecking, but to each his own I guess. you wanna see real obstruction? Watch a playoff game from 1998 or something.

Its late/early and I am watching To Catch A Predator. you know, some of these guys you almost feel bad for, but then if you go online and read the full chat transcripts, it makes you wanna puke. Atleast, thats what I experience when watching this show. Its funny, cause I have played roller hockey off and on at this place in NC for about 6 or so years. The place also has indoor soccer/basketball/lacrosse/other sports and is frequented by middle schoolers on weekend nights for "all sports night" skating or whatever anyway, earlier this year, come to find out one of the owners of the place, who coincidently refs the hockey games there, and I happen to know pretty well was arrested for attempting to meet a 15 year old at a pizza place. amazing.

in all seriousness though, I wonder if he will go through with it, or juggle them several minutes into the game? also, this could lead to Detroit dictating the game, if Therrien is obsessed with matchups. If he wants that line against the ZDH line, Babs could play that line less minutes, thus giving less minutes to the Malkinator. IMO, I like the Wings secondary scoring vs. theirs if Malkin is on the first line.

What I love about Babs is his view on matchups. He said in his presser the other day that he thinks sometimes people get too hung up on matchups. He said he thinks it will be nice to be able to just roll the lines and let them go and play, without worrying about the matchups all that much. IMO this is genius. I do understand trying to keep Lids out with the Pens top line though, but thats a no brainer.

If the Wings win tonight, I think its a sweep If the Pens win, then this could turn into a good series IMO
