You're classless! I'm sick of hearing about who is classy and who isn't in every other thread myself. We're freakin' hockey fans for crying out loud! That being said, I wouldn't boo Hossa and give him the satisfaction.

I'll miss Sammy the most. Good ole logo hunter. While he might not of been that great, he scored some clutch goals for us in the playoffs. Guess we'll all have to find a new whipping boy.

What a wasteful signing. I guess once the terms are disclosed we'll see how bad it is. The last thing Vancouver needs is extra goaltenders.

They're going to be a pretty good team. Certainly the division isn't going to be a gimme. We shall see though. Kopecky has almost certainly put them over the top. I am worried about their goaltending though. They should have went after Conklin instead of signing Kopecky. It would have been a cheap improvement over Huet.

I really don't mind Hossa being doubtful. He was great during the season, but he was practically a ghost in the playoffs. He seems to have a bad habit of coughing up the puck and being a liability out there. I wouldn't mind seeing Conklin around still. It'll be interesting seeing Howard backup regularly. I have a lot of faith in Ozzie though, our playoff MVP.

You know though, you could also say that Stuart won the Cup for the Wings in 2008. Remember when he held the puck in the PIT zone in Game 5, and Hudler ended up scoring to give the Wings a 2-1 lead that ultimately lead to a 3-1 series lead? In all honesty, these things happen. It's unlucky and untimely, but it happens. I'm sure Stuart doesn't feel good about himself, but you win as a team and lose as one. That's all there is to say about it.

I think the main issue this offseason is defense. We can use the cap relief after letting Hossa go, and patch stuff up in that department. Gotta admit, Pittsburgh's defense was great.
