Ok it's about time we need to come up with a nick name for Abdelkader. Although I think Abdelkader is a good name for a hockey player, it would be great if I don't have to type his full name everytime. Also I find news articles are starting to call him 'Abby' and I just don't think it is a good one for Justin. I think he needs something more mean and intimidating. ok so I will go first AK47, Kader, Darth Kader

yeah AK47 is kinda lame but that idea came up when I was watching him play last game. Sturdy, Brute, a workhorse and Dangerous. I kinda like Kader tho or K8, K8R

well rather poor showing at start by Wings but who can blame the Win. especially the one that guarantees home ice advantage my only concern now is Kopecky because he was really playing well. I hope to god it isn't something serious.

yeah but at the same time everyone knows we have not so great history in playoff. you know how this successful season is going to be remembered if we get swept or bounce out in first? just another season of soft euro Red Wings who can't bring it when it matters. what do you remember from 2005-6 season?

Anyway I think Abdelkader looked good.. well he didn't really play amazingly well but somehow those Wings uniform fits him really really well I think. He is the guy I've had most hope among the prospect after I saw him play against team canada in world jr. I really think he is going to be a huge part of this team in future.

You know I am starting to find this lack of energy by Red Wings a big problem. I really thought they were gonna come out of gate crash and banging creating huge momentum right away

BTW I just wanna say I respect everyone in this forum and have been enjoy reading most of the posts in this thread. It's just that I felt someone went over their line a bit to tell other board memeber what to do and I wanted to share my opinion on that matter. My last banter should not be viewed as any personal attack against any memeber of this forum but rather an objection against the idea.

If they really want to give up on Red Wings, I don't think they need any help from you, dont you think? and yeah i'm gonna be so rational and perfectly logical while watching a sports event. While bitching about other people having different opinions or mocking fellow fans who display displeasure their team getting pawned. Why? cuz I don't like them and I don't want to read them. Any more thought police wanna chime in on this issue?
