are you saying because he was great in 1 game against colorado we shouldn't trade him? He may have potential but he just don't know where to go what to do in pretty much every situation without Cheli or other guys looking after him. now that I'm settled down, I don't really mean to say that. But during the game, I get frustrated when a player screws up alot. So please don't quote me during the game.

we have 1/16 chance to win the Cup just like any other teams. and we have to pass tough four 7series tests to do it. Red Wings players are here to help us pass those tests. We all know they can play already but they are gonna have to dig deep to pass those tests. I hope they are fresh and mentally ready to do their job this spring because we all know how tough those are. As for Simpson, he has 1/2 chance to sound like a genius and 15/16 chance to make his prediction right. He has nothing to lose by saying that. Or that's what he thought p.s: just so you know 1/16 is 6.25%. It is a tough odd to beat but we have 50% chance to win/lose every round.

Stars are playing great, I would say a cup contender for sure this year. However, I'm extremely confident that If we play with fire and with passion, to get to the ultimate prize at any cost, there is not one team in entire NHL that can win in 7 game series against us. Zubov, Turco, Modano, all those guys are great players and Stars are playing very well as a team. But we have Lidstrom, Datsyuk, Zetterberg and other amazing casts and we have amazing offense, suffocating defense and have been playing amazingly well as a team. It is us who are at the top of the food chain this season. It doesn't matter what other teams do, it's all about what we do to win it this year IMO.

Hossa 'can' get 8 mil in open market, but I bet you he will not get that money from us. I mean he's got less point than Datsyuk, Zetterberg AND Lidstrom this season and he's gonna get 8 mil? Holland won't give into that kind of deal when we are trying to set standard about 'our price'.

if the trade happens.. i dunno what to say about it. Obviously Hossa is an explosive player who doesn't have to think too much (when we think lil too much that's when we get into trouble IMO) and we missed those kind of player ever since Fedorov done that once in a while. (and in playoffs) However losing Filp over Hossa... damn... I dunno. I really wanted Filp to blossom into solid player in Wings uniform.

Maybe it would be a good idea in places like Florida, or Nashvile where they really want to show appreciations for fans who come to the game but Wings already know they are being loved so I don't think it is a good idea because it wouldn't have the same sincere feeling. Little more emotion or appreciation during 3 star announcement would be a good idea though.
