well it's 4-0.. I would have preferred to hear 4-2 than helding atlanta shotless. We had a lot of nights where we played well and lost.

well I am not predicting that sky is falling and we are going to lose in first round but the way it played out last night reminded me about that incident. Did we and hockey world ever think that we were going to lose against Edmonton in that series? THAT would have been considered a pessimist. Now you have to look at it as a possibility especially the way we came out flat when we needed to. Like the coach says 'there is a very fine line between winning and losing now' our biggest weapon is work ethic and when other teams take it away from it, anything can happen. Before you think I lost my mind, no I don't think (or hope) that we will get early boot.

I am happy to hear that Babcock is pissed. Last night was the first one in a long time that he was outcoached. Usually our players are much more prepared and our execution levels are much much higher. Senators really came out flying. But! we were no where near where we needed to be at the start of the game. The way our players skate first minute of the game, I knew it was going to be another Minnesota game. It was such a disappointing and maddening feeling as a fan. Because players said all the right things before the game and really showed nothing for it in the game. It brought a lot of painful memories like Edmonton series and I really wondered is there another early exit in playoff in store for us this year. Also our weakness in PK is exposed again! We got burnt in San Jose series and last night almost payed for it as well. Our players really need to watch the backdoor when other team has a skilled passer I agree that last night was the one Babcock needed to dress Downey or Ellis. Most of our players looked like they were on flu for first part of the game.

well.. what can i say, Senators REALLY came out to play tonight where as we seemed like we were just happy playing in Canada getting the spotlight. Kudos to Senators

ASG and home adavantage? I heard that before but I don't like the idea one bit. I agree that they should come up with something to generate more interest but I really don't think home advantage in playoff final is the one. We are SOOOOOOO lucky to have him in our uniform. The crowd gave him standing ovation last night and he really deserved it. He doesn't get much spotlight thesedays but he still is #2~3 defenseman just behind Nick in this team. He just is a ultimate competitor and outstanding defensman. I really want Cheli and Lid to keep playing until 50s. As for reprint, it's a shame and they really should come up with something to honour Cheli's service.

well even though we won, it really wasn't a great ending I hoped. I really wanted for us to push pedal till the end and suck their life out of them in front of sold out crowd. Kudos to Hawks, they put on their playoff level effort today. But we still beat them in our regular season mode
