I feel like I'm watching a different video than you. I'm not sure how that clip has any relation to a hip check. Hip checks rarely catch a person squarely in the knees. And how is Salo responsible in any way? He came in and appeared to be going shoulder to shoulder. Nothing in that video really shows Salo doing anything illegal, dirty, or otherwise unsportsmanlike. Edit: I don't feel Marchand should face discipline for it, imo slightly dirty but not terribly so.

Kinda at a loss here. Have Center Ice, but have an older receiver. Last year I was getting all the Center Ice channels in the 700 range on DTV. Now for some reason I have one channel that tells me my receiver no longer has Center Ice in that range, but instead the Center Ice games will be available in the 628 to 699 Regional Sports channel range. But none of the games so far have been on any of those channels, any ideas?

Like GoWings1905 said, rotate Meech, Leba and Chelly as the 6th. Lilja is a shot blocking machine and has been playing well, shouldn't be put into the same group as Lebda and Chelios.

Agreed, an elbow was involved. However, Ovechkin was in no way trying to hurt him. Its arguable if the elbow even had any affect on the injury, or it was contact with the ice/boards. That play happens 5x a game, hell, in the Wild game today Z got his elbows up. No injury, no intent to injure, no call. In the Perry incident, he was blatantly headhunting. He was obviously going for the head. To me it looks like AO was putting his forearms on his back/shoulder and they slid up. Players out to injure or being overly wreckless continuously should be punished more severely than those who have a mental lapse.

Mine eyes may be deceiving me, but I think its a stretch to compare that with the Ovechkin hit. The main difference between the two in my eyes is intent. Ovechkin's hit almost certainly wasn't thrown with intent to injure, it would take a lot to convince me that wasn't Perry's objective. While intent doesn't (and shouldn't) affect penalties, I believe it *should* affect suspensions.

Quick Note: The Penalty call was 4 Min Double Minor for High Sticking (drawing blood). Refs blew the call (surprise) and thought it was his stick, although if you were looking in the general direction of the ice you could see the elbow. Would have mostly likely been a Game Misconduct/Major if the refs saw it clearly.

Watched this game earlier, definately deserved. Giroux was entering the Ducks zone, just across the blue line. Perry approached from right side/slightly behind and caught him square in the face with an elbow. Hard to argue it was incidental, very blatant. 4 Games well justified.

Agreed with most of them, however... Andreas Lilja C-? You're saying he's the 3rd worst player on the team? Besides the turnover in Game 5, I didn't see any bad play at all by him. He was also one of the most consistant hitters on the team.
