Sauer has played much better of late, thank God but you always expect one of those weak shots to go in. I guess I am so use to last year. But, to his credit, Sauer isn't the problem ever--it is the defensive turnovers, like you said. If Michigan minimizes those, they can beat the Irish. Their offense is just as strong as ND's defense, so it will be a good game. Hope TJ keeps strengthening his Hobey Baker chances, and Hunwick and Johnson play well as d-man pairs. I can't go tonight, for obvious reasons called St. Pattys Day, but GO BLUE!

I don't know if I agree with the line combinations, but I agree with who is in the lineup. If Samulsson isnt on the first two lines (which isn't going to be) he is useless. He can't grind it out and play physical and as of late he can't score a whole lot (so like I said, 1st or 2nd line is out of the question). In fact, I haven't even noticed him in the lineup since he scored that OT goal. So good call with sitting Sammy.

That is a definite no to Cleary sitting. Maltby deserves to go first, than Sammy. If Huddles continues to play like this he cannot sit, I agree but benching Cleary isn't a good solution--anyways, the Hank injury sounds very serious, so we could be having this conversation for no reason. Cleary was playing the best hockey of his career before he got hurt and I can hardly imagine Babs scratching him out of the lineup and Cleary is another player the wings need to be hot for the playoffs. If you can never have too much defensive experience, they why bench Cleary because he clearly fits under that description-- Sammy sounds like a good candidate for me. But hey, isn't it wonderful that we can be having this conversation deciding what good player should be sitting--that we have that many options?

Well, I hate how he is takes cheap shots and I especially hate when a train whistle goes off when he goes on the ice in Nashville, but that is unbelievably sad. I'm sure he carries that around on his shoulders everyday. Like I said, I will always hate the way Tootoo plays, but having someone close to you commit suicide has to be the roughest thing in the world. No one deserves to go through something like that.

We'll I've put the homework off for 3 hours now, so i guess i should start. I am sure I'll be back on in my attempt to procrastinate.
