Yea, i hafta agree with you on Rex. He's been playing much better hockey, scoring goals when he gets the chance, playing d-fense etc. His size worries me for the playoffs mostly bc the playoffs are a lot more physical than the regular season for some odd reason. The Wings will be lucky to have him as the 13th forward, knowing that if anyone else decides to get injured there is a good replacement sittting on the sidelines.

I honestly can say that I thought that I hated Sammy, mostly because of his weak as hell wrist shots that go right to the chest of other goaltenders. That being said, I was sooo excited to see Sammy back that I realized his crap shots were at least some sort of shot and that he is a player that the Wings need to get hot. Other players do the weak shot too (see Langer), but at least Sammy plays well defensively, doesn't take lazy penalties (for the most part) and seems like a HUGE part of the team. I love Matt Ellis, especially in comparison with Langfeld, but not in comparison with Sammy. Kind of like that saying you don't know a good thing till it's gone.

I'm out too...gotta study for a psych exam tomorrow night. Let's all hope, err pray, for a better outcome Tuesday.

Haha, whatever it takes. Get those boys ready to play Tuesday. Maybe a little cheer like your did for Wings_rule would help. Start working on some lyrics or something.

I knew this game was going down the tubes when the announcers said sometime in the 1st "the wings have yet to lose to an original six team this year." Nice job douchebags.

Regardless of who is in net, you can rarely allow 6 goals and win a hockey game.

Wonderful...like I said, feels like that game. I just can't recall having an entire line of Griffins for the flyers game like we did for this one...must have missed that. You can't tell me the outcome wouldn't have been different or at least not as bad if we were healthy. Nonetheless, a horrible team effort by the wings. Hopefully they'll bring it Tuesday.

OMG, this game feels like that Flyer game. Just ugly. We miss Hank...and Cleary and Mule and Markov and whoever else is out.

These announcers are talking like they are assholes. Claiming Malts was attempting a dive (in which he was tripped) and ignoring the fact that the Boston player, yes he was bumped, threw himself into the goal. And great, we are getting a penalty. Maybe the wings are getting all their badness out for the Nashville series this week.

Sadly the Flyers also beat us...damn that was an embarassing game.

Come on, the announcers have legit reasons to treat Thomas like a God. I mean look at his career totals...just pure amazing under 50 NHL games played and about a 3.0 GAA. Just amazing numbers... On that note, he just had a pretty amazing period, which sucks for us.

I get to watch this one too--but i gotta somehow get myself out of bed with this daylight savings thing messing up my schedule. Wings 3 Bruins 1...Wings score all 3 goals in the third after two periods of rustiness.

Ok, I was little off on the scorers...but i did pretty well in the predicting department. If only I could guess that well on exams.
