Yea, sadly the team is used to hasek's impressive 2.08 GAA...Mac averaged 5 GAA the past two nights--we are lucky to get one win out of this. I'd be freaking if we were totally healthy and this happened. Lets get healthy, maybe a couple trades [Kenny] and hopefully we'll avoid massacres by less than average teams. EDIT:: the virus that is andreas lilja needs to go, ASAP.

Oh come on. This isnt jumping off the bandwagon. This is the pessimism that stems from playoff underacheivement of the recent years. Goalies always, whether it be Hasek, Ozzie, or Mac, will take the blunt of the blame. That is sadly how it is. Saying Mac is sucking right now-- he has allowed like 5 goals/game on back to back nights is the stat i see right now. I can't think about his good play against St. Louis in a game we lost. Luckily there will always be another game and hopefully another goalie.

The thing is, even when the wings win, this forum will be on the pessimistic side. So when the game is going this badly, pessimism will be extreme. They have played 4 games in 6 nights, but they are professionals--you can lose but dont get smoked by the league leaders in loses Flyers--oops 6-1 flyers.

After this horrible game [on our part] Floppa is going to refuse to waive his no trade clause to come here (jk, really but this game is just bad).I mean how many home games have the Flyers won all season, like 4? In the last three games, the wings have been shut out, scored 7, and then 1 goal-- this inconsistency should be a signal for Holland. Ohh well, there is always next game. When is Hasek and/or Ozzie due back?

Game is boring, so you really aren't missing much. Both teams looked fatigued...I was kind of liking the cleary, zetterberg, flip line out there at the end of the 2nd. Maybe Babcock should mix up the lines to add a little spark?

Yea, I agree that the young guys i.e. Hudler, Flip have played well of recent. However, Cleary is way more valuable, cheaper, and useful than Malts. Don't get me wrong I love Maltby, but it seems that a whole lot of guys, not just Cleary, can do what he is doing for less. Maltby is a player worth keeping, but not for over a mil.
