Lidstrom, Lock. Chelios, Lock. No one else gets close unless Lebda wins himself a few Norris trophies down the road (which I don't see happening). Schneider is not a HOFer. peace LMAO...how about Kronwall, he could win a few norris trophies down the road if he can please stay healthy. But agreed on Schneids, he is an awesome d-man-- actually quite rare for Americans, but he isn't HOF material. And that is hard for me to say, knowing that he's my favorite player.

Well, I try being nice and say thanks for the discussion but of course--always have to have the last word. Of course I like other teams...but I would NEVER defend them while dissing the wings. Absolutely never. I am not unloyal b/c I don't go talking about how the wings are going down to another team when the playoffs are months away. So far you've called me "closed minded" and "absurd." So no my opinion isn't absurb cuz I do not go to extreme lengths to defend another team. All your posts have been pro-nashville never anything good about the wings. Come on, everyone is heated up after a wings lost, that isn't the smartest thing to do. But hey, like I said thanks for the insults and the heated conversation...much appreciated.

Well, we agree on something. I just don't get where you are coming from either. You say you r a wings fan, yet you root for the preds, then criticize me for being loyal to my team--saying I should "look outside the box." But w.e., I give. We keep going in circles and every time you come to Nashville's defense. So thanks for the heated debate and I'll will talk to you again in early February.

For one, never said that Nashville is a better team "in certain positions." For two, I do see "outside the box" because Carolina is better and so is Ottawa. And okay, the way you r talking makes you sound like a die-heart Preds fan. You just fooled me with who you truly are loyal to.

Umm, if these guys aren't ready to come to the NHL, how does that make the Preds deep? Sure it makes their AHL team good. The Wings have guys in the AHL and those who are scratched that are reading for the NHL. Just look. When Kronwall returns, Lebda (most likely) will be sent to the minors. He is perfectly capable of playing in the NHL, but won't get that chance when Kronwall returns. Umm, I put that in parenthesis since I wasn't sure, didn't you catch that? If not, take another look. I have to admit the preds are better than us? Umm, I certainly don't think so. That game in Nashville we dominated. Last nights game, we dominated (except Vokoun played awesome). I refuse to admit that they are better than us until they can beat us in the playoffs...and even then I'll need some real convincing. well I'm sorry to hear that. I guess you'll be in for a suprize if we do play them. Not only is there goaltending better but their star players actually show up for the game and score timely goals.... I agree that our stars do not show up, but come on asking a wings fan to admit that a good team with a great goalie is better than you? No. Lidstrom or Markov (or Erat)? Do you even have to think? Agreed. Vokoun doesn't make stellar saves he is just at the right place at the right time...and hockey that is what a great goalie needs. Too bad our goalies have a hard time getting themselves into position.

I think this was meant to be a dis at me...but I am not too sure cuz I can't understand some of the rubbish. Preds fans don't "work" me up. Second that. Some of you are saying that he allowed 2 bad goals...that he goes down too early...well in what alternate universe is 1 goal called supporting the goalie? And that goal...was scored by a d-man! When I said last night that Manny didn't play bad everyone told me when your team has an off night in the scoring department the goalie needs to step in. Well, tonight the same old thing. To win a game these past games Manny would have to have under a goal and a half against a game. That is unbelievable. Ozzie will get the nod on Thursday b/c the team simply isn't supporting Manny or well, not playing for him. But please don't go saying Manny played bad b/c as far as I am concerned he made awesome saves in the first and was beat only on breakaways. Ahh...this is what I am talking about. When Manny lets in two goals and loses it is his fault. When Ozzie does it the team just isn't supporting him. Go figure. Instead of blaming Manny, lets blame our lack of offense these past two games. How about that.
