Wow, quick start for the GDT today. I am still recovering from the last disappointing loss . Last game I stayed off the threads b/c superstitious me thought it was bad luck, but I guess not. I predict quite a blowout, partially because the wings looked like they couldn't score last night if their life depended on it--so these goals are long over due: wings: 5<< Schneider, Lidstrom, Holmstrom, Zetterberg, Samulsson preds: 1<< Walker Wings need this one to keep first place in the divison. LETS GO WINGS

If Kronwall returns to the wings as he expects to (a week before the olympic break) should he then continue on to represent Sweden in the Olympics? Discuss.

This is the kind of bashing I like. Like mentioned before, he looks like he cakes on the make-up...particularly the lipstick, which sounds just wrong. He thinks that he is the hottest guy walking, but yeah really not so much. The pointy hair and eyebrows must go.

This guy, if he actually believes this, is way more out of touch with reality than I previously thought. You can NEVER play good and allow 6 goals. You can never play good and blow a three goal lead. But hmm, if it makes Ozzie sleep better at night...

Maybe Lebda was serving as the second goalie knowing that a puck would sooner or later go past Ozzie. Looks like Lebda should have stayed there.

Like I mentioned earlier, Babcock needs to get hardnosed and come through with that threat that if the wings didn't start picking it up he'd make practices longer and harder. Being an athlete, I know that nothing scares me more than long hard practices. The wings need a kick in the pants and what a great way to do it. Lets see if the wings can show up for ALL three periods not just the first or just the last two on Tuesday.

Ugh, the wings game is on OLN Tuesday isn't it? I don't know whether to consider myself lucky because my college cable doesn't carry OLN, thus saving myself the torture of OLN, or to hate it because then I have a 3 hour date with the radio. Either way, OLN sucks.

Hedburg was a star of the game? Ouch, I didn't think he did anything stellar. But then again if you compare his play to that of our goalie's, he rocked. But anyways, I knew the 3-0 lead was too good to be true. I can't remember the last time I saw 6 unanswered goals--probably never. When the first goal went in against us, we were screwed. The wings freaked out and then as a result came the rest of their 6 goals. I am hoping the wings will rebound against this one. Something is for sure, Babcock isn't happy. He warned the wings against their lack of effort (threatened them with longer, harder practices). I wouldn't mind him taking up on that offer. The wings, no just Ozzie, need a kick in the pants after that one.

Umm, 2-8 is a 25% powerplay. That is pretty good, not great, but defiantely not bad. If you wanna blame something, look at penalty kill. The stars were 3-5. That's 60%.

Ouch. I know some of us are loyal Ozzie fans and for the most part he can do no wrong, but you have to admit it was a horrible game for not just the wings, but for him too. I am sick of watching Ozzie look lost in net, but I enjoy watching the wings. Harsh comment. But then again, after a loss like this I have a feeling that a lot of us are on edge. Oh well, go Hawks (beat some Preds ass --which is highly unlikely).

Don't get me wrong, I am ALL FOR the bashing of Ozzie. I think he sucks and half the time never know where the puck is (I have never seen wrap arounds work on a goalie so many times). But, I find it funny how after games the bashing heats up, even when the losses aren't his fault. But hey, keep it up . I want to see Manny in net Tuesday.

Seriously I couldn't have put it better myself. I could care less whose in net as long as the goalie in there plays well (Ozzie, Manny??). But Manny had played well, so lets ride whose ever playing well. Thats how we've gotten by all year. We, I don't think, will ever have a for sure starting goalie, so keeping riding whose hot. It is a sad way to go, but hey, whatever works.

I partially agree. But only 23 shots allowed, I'd say the defense is helping. Some of the goals were weak and some weren't, but when you let in 6 goals on 23 shots only so much can be the defense. On the other hand, anyone see--or not see-- Hank's "hook" at the end of the game? lmao

For one, everyone (including myself) always overreacts on the forum. It is natural. We won't win every game, but it isn't every game that you blow a 3 goal lead and have 6 unanswered goals. Here, unlike at other times, there is reason to overreact. Hopefully we can bounce back Tuesday and/or the Preds could lose tonight

Sorry guys, but Ozzie's save % was 73.9%. In no alternate universe is that good or even acceptable. Like Ken Daniels said, i don't know if it is Ozzie playing bad, but the puck isn't hitting him. Manny should have been in a long time ago.

I am sorry, but Babcock needs to get him out of there. These shots aren't being tipped or anything. I know when a game goes sour like this it is easiest to blame the goalie, but he hasn't done anything spectuacular. Just for the pure sake of the team, he needs to be pulled. Dallas did and they got going afterwards. Lets try doing the same. **Ouch, didn't notice Pavel's turnover. That never helps a goalkeeper in need**
