Hahaha Ok, just saw the Langkow/Lebda ordeal for the first time (I was at the game and one minute Lebda was okay and the next he was being helped off, so I defintiely didn't see it there). First off, Lebda did get a little low on the hip check so maybe a 2 minute penalty but nothing dirty, hipchecks--if done right--are legal. However, Langow's suckerpunch was horrible. I know you are frustrated: you're losing the game and a guy just hit you--it sucks. But that was a pure and blatent suckerpunch that will most likely leave the Wings without a good dman tomorrow. If you want to fight Lebda first let him get up and then square up to him and fight. The league should look at that (his injury) and at the punch and suspend him for a game. There is no room in the league for this kind of s***. Too many guys all around the NHL are getting hurt because guys don't have respect and/or lose control. This is horrible.

Me too...Oooo, intermission they'll be talking about the Wings game. WIll be interesting to hear the CBC explaination of the events.

I was at the game so I missed the wonderful GDT today, so I want to kind of put my two cents in on the game. For one, Cleary was the man. His goal sparked the team, but even more him coming back was huge. Second, it was wonderful to see Hank get some goals and I have been impressed by Lilja (shocker). Lastly, the end of this game. The guy on 1270 said he would like to compare the Flames to little girls, but that would be insulting to little girls and that is exactly what it was like. The first slash by the backup goal came about 2 seconds into his short time and Kipper never took his helmet off while he was on the bench...this was most definitely instructed by Playfield. And can someone tell me what happened to Lebda?

Dodgeball goes perfectly with my "nobody makes Daniel Cleary bleed his own blood" motif I've got going on.

I was incredibly nervous for the Tuesday nights game, and it appeared the team was too. I am much more calm now, and hopefully the wings will be too. We need Hank and Pavs to be a bit more noticable in this one...maybe everyone could use Danny Cleary's idea of working their asses off. Regardless, I predict a better showing from our boys in this one. I look forward to the game. LETS GO WINGS!!

A few years back I spent 125 dollars on a ticket to game 5 vs. Nashville and we won...so lets hope the trend continues, since that was the last time the wings won a playoff series. Not only do i owe my roommate money, but i have to drive my trash car to Detroit. Now that is dedication.

I'll be there Saturday...I am a poor college student who borrowed money from her roommates (88 dollars to be exact) so I could go.

Gotta love Danny Cleary--made me slightly happy to see Phaneuf get a taste of his own medicine. If only everyone played with that sort of work ethic

I am gonna have a heart attack everytime there is a back-up in front of our net. IMO, the Wings are wayyy too relaxed and/or lazy. I think an intermission would do them good.

This was a bittersweet one for the LNC...it's always nice to see the preds lose, but not at the expense of having another early night. Boo.
