With Hitchcock getting things straighten out with the BJ's, Columbus looks like they could turn things around in a year or two. Columbus is the same distance as Hamilton, its a wash! I have been to the Wings v. Preds game every year since '98 and feel that Nashville does deserve an NHL team because they have built a team the right way (from the ground up). They didn't go out trade their future for old, declining stars (i.e. Atlanta, Carolina- please keep in mind that this is when they first came into the league). To those who are saying, "they have an great team, but they don't sell out, so they don't deserve a team"- well the Wings sell out but we see the lower bowl and the better part of the stadium empty. (Just something to think about )

I agree that Bab's needs to give Hud's more time (time=scoring opportunities). Just because Babcock sits Hulder doesn't mean Babcock"hates" Hudler. Perhaps Hudler needed somemore time to develop (time=development, too ) I agree that the kid is sick and needs more time, lets just see how this plays out.

I was born in Dearborn and my family moved to Kentucky when I was four. I knew that I was from (around) Detroit and so I started to love the Wings, Pistons, Tigers, and yes the Lions because of where I was born. The rest of my friends didn't even know what hockey was when I would wear my Wings jersey to school (ha ha). When Nashville got a team, my family and I started going to at least one of the Wings games in Nashville (usually the one around Christmas or Thanksgiving). I love screaming and laying into Preds fans when we score and win!! I finished college last year and I moved to the ATL and still love the Wings (and I am secertly praying that the Wings get moved to the Eastern Conf. so I can see them more often )

I have been to a few Trashers games this year and he looked good, I remember telling my wife in December it would be nice to get him back in a winged-wheel sweater. Whenever Ilya and Kozlov played on the same line they looked awesome. Thats why, I think Kozlov would be a nice compliment to Dats (Russian Connection). :edit sp

Here in ATL the Trashers have open practices to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays when they are in town. Their practive facility is like five minutes from my apartment. Too bad practice is at 2 or 3:30 in the afternoon, when I'm at work. It would be interesting to see a practice.
