I thought I was going to be able to get through a game without hearing the 'detroit sucks' chant. This game will be just like the last game. We will come back, and demolish the Predators. Sweet hit by Nick jr, and one crazy goal by Chris Draper. LETS GO WINGS!!!!

I hope filppula gets rid of these butterflies soon. He would have had 2 goals so far today! Draper's goal was a nice bounce back after the Predator's 2 goals. I keep thinking Draper was aiming for that skate! I love how we are matching their physical play, and at times taking higher. Though, we aren't getting frustraited like Nashville. How can the Nashville Predators think they can roll with us? MAN, WE'RE ON FIRE!!!! LETS GO WINGS!!!!

I love seeing this physical play. We aren't letting them get away with anything. Lillypad's hit on Tootoo was awesome...just for a shot after the whistle. That is awesome. Darren McCarty's goal! That s*** is what I am talkingabout!!! Oh, Ellis isn't the same goalie in this game. He is letting out some juicy rebounds in front of the net. From what I counted, three rebounds should have been goals. Filppula's missed rebound was the last one. I thought for sue that was in the net, but he whiffed on it! This game has me completely jazzed! Good job McCarty!! LETS GO WINGS!!!!

LETS GO WINGS!!! The first game was all us...hopefully it is the same in this second game. I'm calling it...Datsyuk is due...he gets the game winner, and the Franzenstien will score again.

Man, what an awesome game! We were all over them. Dats and Z were almost unstoppable. I loved how our D kept the preds outside to the boards the whole night. We had a pretty strong effort tonight. Oh, the only bad thing I saw tonight was how Flipper couldn't keep the puck on his stick...he was losing it constantly. Sammy really surprised me. He had a really good game. I didn't see one mistake from Sammy..surprising. LETS GO WINGS!!!!

This goalie is only hot till we score on him again. Their goal was a fluke. A redirect from Tootoo of all people. The Predators aren't in this game...only their goalie is, and that is why we are going to win this game. We are buzzing all over the place.

We got Drapes, 'ol 37, Stuart, and McCarty back tonight! I am so excited about the whooping the Wings are going to deliver tonight! I am guessing that Franzen is going to keep up with his usual hotness, and score tonight. I also think that either or both Datsyuk and Zetterburg are going to continue their playoff success from last year. I am on the edge of crapping myself with how excited I am about the Wing's chances this year. I can hardly think straight! LETS GO WINGS!!!!

Datsyuk is this team's motor. He leads by example, and hardly ever makes a mistake. If he does make a mistake then he is there to steal the puck back, and create a scoring chance! Datsyuk and Cleary are my favorite two wings. I can't really say which one is my favorite. Both are there for different reasons, but without Datsyuk, I believe, the wings wouldn't be where they are now.

Good job tonight. I was pretty disappointed with Hasek on the 2nd goal, but he really pulled himself togather, and kept us in the game. That new kid from MSU was pretty good. His energy was awesome. Congrats on winning the President's

Abdelkader has so much energy. I loved watching him play. He is a gritty player, and we need gritty players. He is pretty good size also. I loved how strong he was on the puck. Heck, he almost had two goals tonight. I would sign him tonight...not waste a minute.

Good luck tonight guys. Good to have you back Cleary...you're a trooper. Your dedication to the team is unbelievable.

I know I would be terrible at running the team, but come one. Why is Sammy on the #1 line? What has he done to grant him this position? I must have missed something.

Good to see Cleary back...we've missed you! What's up with Sammy on the #1 line with Z and Dats? If anyone deserves that spot it's Franzen. If it were me making the decisions I would send Sammy to GR, and then send ANYONE up to replace him. No one, I mean no one is going to pick him up on waivers, and if they do...darn it!

Nashville is nothing to us. Us playing like crap is the only reason why they have beat us this year. With the way Dats, Z, Franzen, Kopetsky, Filppula, and most of our D have been playing we will be roaring like a lion all the way through the playoffs. It also seems like we will be getting key personel back into the lineup. I can't wait to have Cleary's passion for the game back on the ice. His energy is just crazy when he is firing on all thrusters. The enigma that McCarty is..is going to be interesting. I hope he going to bring the jump the 4th line like I think he is...though he hasn't paid his dues through the year (like others have). It wil be interesting to see what Babcock does with him. McCarty has the potential to be a decent scoring forward, and an enforcer. Having him on a different line than Downey is going to offer huge painful checking, and enforcing. Though, I have a feeling that it is probably going to be either Downey or McCarty. This playoff run is going to be an awesome experience. This is such a well rounded team. I'm giddy just thinking about it. I say bring on the Preds, and we'll whoop them something feirce! They will be wishing they moved their franchise to Canada!

I'm all for the Osgood vs Mason fight. If Osgood can own Roy, Mason won't be a problem. Hasek would probably pull a groin if he fights. Get it on Downey!!!!

That's the type of mentality Gary Bettman is hoping for with the NHL Network. Buy center ice for dishnetwork (145bucks), then upgrade my service to get versus (15bucks a month), and then upgrade my service to HD to get the NHL network (another 25-35 bucks a month). I guess I will cancel my car insurance so I can see every game. Oh, nice goal by Nick Jr!

The wings have been playing fine tonight. Just the fluke goal. Really impressed with Franzen. Which brings up the question...Why is Babcock putting Sammy in with Z and Dats? Didn't Z score 2 of his goals with Dats, and Franzen on the ice (last night)? I can't wait for everyone to come off the IR.

Well, they do, so get over it. Sure, I agree. It wasn't his fault, but the goals in his last couple of games. Come on...the guy has a nasty string of bad luck right now. WOW!!!!!

I know it was a fluke goal, but man. I am really hating Hasek in net. He has nothing, but bad luck.

I know I am late, but nice hat trick by Z. This is just what he needed with his goal drought. It is nice to see Zetterburg back on top of his game. the last goal was the best. Not sure of the goalies name, but he tried a Hasek. Z made him look so foolish! awesome goal! my favorite of the tonight.

Depends on Hasek's luck. Today he had no luck, or help from the defence. Funny how the defence rallied in front of Osgood. Oh, it was funny how the game changed when Babcock put the Dats-Z-Franzen line togather. Anyone notice how Babcock put Sammy out in the last couple minutes after the last goal? Sammy tired a slick deke at our blue line, and lost the puck. The puck stayed in our end for a while. At the worst times Sammy decides to hold onto the puck, and try to beat someone one on one. Whenever he tries this he ALWAYS loses the puck. I really hope they trade him during the summer, or he doesn't make it during try outs.

I agree. Sammy does not deserve to be on the ice with either of the Euro Twins. Twins and Franzenstein. With Lids and Rafalski on defence. the best of what we have right now.
