Sammy needs to go. He always makes bad decisions, never connects on passes, and he is a puck hog. The only thing he has is a good shot, but that is it. Man, I hate watching him play. I thought it was all over after the Cleary goal. Osgood was off and on tonight, but for the most part it was a good game (besides the terrible defense). I could have swore that 3 of their goals were scored by someone not guarded in front of the net. That last goal in regulation was a nightmare. Oh well, Saturday's a new day, and a game I can't wait for.

I ended up watching Michigan and Florida. Switching back between the two. I am hoping Illinois beats up on USC in the Rose Bowl! On a side note-I didn't think Crosby scored that shootout goal the first time I saw it. I thought he whiffed on it, but I am glad the replay showed something different. I was ready to start my NHL/Sidney Crosby conspiracy!

Speaking of the game being on Versus. Is it available online anywhere? I noticed that it isn't on Hockeywebcasts.com like it usually is. I don't get versus, and I was hoping to be able to see it tonight.

Everywhere, all over the league, Tootoo targets cheered at that whooping. This is the first time I have cheered on a Blackhawk! Way to go Wisnewski. Good Stuff

I have a crazy feeling tonight...I really believe Filppula is going to get a hat trick tonight. That boy is on one heck of a scoring streak. Heck, Datsyuk didn't even assist on either goals! Way to Val! Surprising to see Rafalski giving up the puck like that. I knew they were going to score after that give away. I know Hasek wants that one back, but he's playing pretty good right now. He'll bounce back. Good effort so far tonight.

I feel sorry about the concussion, but at the same time I'm not overly broken up about it. With the knee to knee hit on Holmstrom I feel all is fair. Even though it wasn't Jackman that kneed Holmer. I am still glad someone on the Blues took a fall. they are overly aggresive, making dirty hits (not letting off), and raising the sticks. Anyone notice during last night's game that the Blue's checking game went out the window when our 4th line was on the ice? They can beat up on the little guys, but can't hang with the big dogs.

Good job tonight guys. Pavel was just insane, and Lidstrom looked awesome also. I'm sure having that contract signed eases a lot of pressure. That was a nice move at the blue line right before he scored on Manny. Osgood was our savior tonight. He looked awesome, and he did what he was supposed to do. Last but not least, Filppula...good job tonight. He has really been coming around latey.

I just watched the fight on youtube. Crosby has earned my respect. I have always thought he was a big kid, and now he's finally backing his stuff up. Way to go Sid.

Cleary is my go to guy after letting Jackman know his s*** stops here. Although, it was to little to late. When we play the Blues I think we need Downey, and Ellis in for some serious backbone. I was pissed off the whole nite watching them rough up Dats and Hank.

Heck, he even had Yahoo block the feed so people can't watch the NHLNetwork feeds online. What an ass.

The Wings just look tired out there. A give away led to the goal, and then another give away right before the end of the period. The Wings just look tired. I hope they get another goal for some insurance on this power play. That Filppula penalty shot goal was awesome! Way to go Filppula!

Ya know, we stand to lose more games a month than just 2 or three. Gary Bettman, and the NHL Network are picking their games a month ahead of time (depending on what teams are hot). They will never have a set yearly schedule. I really am getting pissed at this crap. The NHL is running a racket with this versus / Center Ice / NHL Network fan screwwing scam.

Sounded like a nice goal by Zetterburg, but I wouldn't actually know anything about it. Not with Bettman's scheme to screw more money from fans...this NHL Network is bulls***. Why did I purchase Center Ice? Gary Bettman...you and your SUPER ideas SUCK

Dang, it is only the 2nd intermission, and the Hawks are destroying the Yotes 6-0. 5 goals in the 1st. One of their D has a hat trick, and Ruutoo has 2. I bet the Yotes are going to be looking for some payback tomorrow night. Funny how the Central all comes togather in one year rather than only one team having a break out year (besides us). I guess stinking up the place for the last few years really paid off for the Hawks. This past summer the draft really went their way, and especially their acquisitions from the summer. Same with the Blues. The jackets just must be some sort of freak of nature. Now the Central is a major battlezone.

I saw the accident, but I didn't see how he got hurt. Right after he scores a nice goal...go figure! I hope he will be alright...we need him! Man, whata goal from Datsyuk. That play alone was enough to fire up the Wings. A couple minutes before that we started to control the game, and then Wham...Datsyuk and Draper! Man, Datsyuk's wrist shot is soooo fast. I didn't even see it leave his stick. Nice last couple minutes Wings! Way to totally redeem yourselves!
