Good luck tonight Wings...I too, am glad that we are finally finished playing the central. We needed some change.

This could be good. If the Wings make the playoffs they will be a hardcore team, and will be hard to beat if the central turns out to be pretty tough division. Downey and Ellis may become mainstays on the team through their games with the central.

I'm so pissed off. I can't believe all of those stupid calls. Especially that last call on Cleary. His stick was blatently being held in front of the net. They call all of those dumb penalties, and miss the real ones. Datsyuk, holmstrom, and Zetterburg were crosschecked constantly...and no call....how about some consistancy. Those refs are jerk offs.

Yeah, and then the D get's called for sneezing. Way to many penalties. They should just let them play. Oh, Hasek is better tonight...a little better

We dominated the whole game. Hasek lost us the game. People in here are saying it isn't his fault. It is his fault. He is our top goalie, and he should be making those saves. If he was the backup then sure, you do have a leg to stand on. The talk about him not back in game shape? If he is playing then he is in game shape, or he wouldn't be in. Hasek needs to leave...now. We pay him to back us up...especially if something stupid happens on the other side of the rink that allows for a breakaway. that is why they practice breakaways, and shootouts. Hasek may have been a good goalie once, but now he is bantha fodder!

So what your saying is...when a goalie is one on one with someone it isn't the goalie's fault he gets scored on. Come on. The first short handed goal was a developing play from the other side of center. When he got past Ralphi, Hasek should have been set. Same on the second short handed goal. If it isn't the goalies fault who's is it? Especially when it is a developing play from the other side of the center. I guess I can give you the second goal, but the first goal he should have had.

Like mess'n with the fro...Hasek's gotta go! I can't believe his record tonight...even Mickey was picking on him. That was classic, "That's ok, they aren't shorthanded!" when the Hawks were threatning at the end on the 2nd. Mickey and Ken good a good laugh out of that! Oh well, nice game so far guys!

I don't think so. Our D needs some serious work. The fact that we allowed 4 goals in one period has to addressed. We took care of the Pred, and the Jackets. We just have to solve the Blackhawks. I believe if Osgood was in goal we would have won this one. We can't survive with Hasek. It is just the beginning of the season, and he has been on the IR for 3/4 of a month. He is slow in the net, and he goes down way to soon. It's not my decision, but something is going to have to be done. When our defense is down you need someone you can count on. This year Hasek hasn't been that guy, and Osgood is just a really good backup. We can't rely on Osgood for the long term.

I thought the game was ours when Datsyuk scored for center ice. Come on Wings rally infront of Osgood. A three goal come back would be awesome.

Yeah, he needs to go. 4 goals in one period. He is way to old and slow.

Well, I hope after watching tonight's game tapes they will tighten up our sloppy defense. Man, we looked like crap tonight. I will have to listen to the Blues game on the radio...don't have Versus. I just hope they get things back togather for the next game. We can't be dropping points in our own division like this. Oh, bench Lilja on the next game-he's a moron.

The wings plainly freak'n suck tonight. We had so much momentum after the goal, and the fight. Now look at us...back on our heels. How come (this season) we never prepare for this team like they prepare for us? This is just sickening.
