Because we rock, and they suck...that's why!

I am very excited over these two acquisitions. I always liked the way Calder played with the Hawks (not familiar with his play in Philly). He seemed to be a nice strong player. Hopefully he'll be the same for us. As for Bertuzzi...if he is healthy. Wow, do we have some power now! I just hope he doesn't go the Darien Hatcher route. A strong, huge player like him going to the net, making plays, and standing up for our talent. If he is healthy we have just made one awesome trade.

The only thing I am really mad about is our physical play. We don't hardly have any physical play, and the guys that do hit get hurt on the very hits their giving out. I'm just tired of getting pushed around. Plus, Fippula's line didn't seem to have a single shot on goal. it seems they just cycle the puck behind the net till their out muscled. It seems Fippula's line is so weak they are kept to the out side all the time. they always resort to cycling the puck till they lose it. I know i said it twice, but everytime I see that line it's what happens. Maybe I'm just pissy cause we totally got molested tonight...totally man!!! I'm gonna go play mah jongg...screw this

I agree with most people in here. This should be a wake up call to Holland. I am sick of losing to the bottom feeders of the NHL

boy, mr wonderful, #5, is really sucking tonight. I think the wings are throwing the game. They don't want to be #1...they think it is a curse.

My sentements exactly. Whenever the name Claude Lemeuix is spoken my fist tightens, and my mind starts fomulating how this ass should pay. For some reason whenever I see a jearsy with an A in the center of it I feel the same way. even though there was payback for what he did to Draper...I still think he has a sizable debt...as well as the whole team.

That's the history erase button...I wonder what would happen if someone puched it? I know...it would erase this crappy play the wings!!!!

Like Babcock said...we need a goalie. not a goalie who is hot. Manny was undressed by Sullivan, and Kariya. I think he commits to soon, and then he is screwwed. What about our power play? It is non existant. If we are going to be having all of thse power plays then they need to practicing. We can't hardly even get it into the zone. Not to mention all of the escaping pucks off of the point.

Yeah, the new NHL sucks....bad. I am sick of all of the power plays. Once, I would like to see a period without any penelties.

Not one to place blame, but tonight's loss is mostly on Lebda's shoulder's. That first goal that the Star's score is what started it all. Lebda was laying in the net behind Ozzgood fore about 6or 7 seconds before the wrap around occurred. He had more than enough time to get out of the net when the puck went behind the net. Ozzgood watched from the right, and saw the star coming around, and then stumbled over Lebda. If I was Babcock I would have benched Lebda for the rest of the period. Because Lebda turtled in the goal the Star's got the momentum they needed. The rest is on Babcock, and Ozzgood. Ozzgood should have made saves, and Babcock should have pulled Ozzy after the 4th goal.

I am trying to understand why they played Osgood to begin with? Legace just came back, and has a game under his belt. Why would they not play him? Oh, why didn't Babcock pull Ozzy on the fourth goal? He was looking flat all game. Oh, this is just extra steam being blown off, but why isn't Lang more Physical? When I heard that we got Lang I was so excited, but what has he really done? Sure, he has assisted a few times, but he hasn't put up the amount of goals he should be putting up. I guess when you play with awesome players like Jagr your going to be scoring more goals, and be made to look better than you actually are. What's up with those stupid penelties. The roughing on Holmstrom was priceless, and it was called by the ref at center ice no less. Then there was th hooking call at the end on Zetterburg. There was no hook. He didn't even make contact with him. These new rules really have ruined the NHL. The refs call everything, cause they can't distinguish between penelties, and non-penelties. The guys in the commitee (including Shannahan) should be hung by their toe nails, and Bettman should be shot. Bettman has ruined the NHL.
