Dats and Lids get 8 days off instead of 6. We are playing the blue jackets of all teams. We should be fine. I say, thanks Bettman for letting our guys rest the 2 extra days. I just can't wait to see the wings play the caps next saturday, and the two of them will be rested up with a game under their belts. Thanks Bettman, for trying to be an *******.

I agree, and I like Z better. Heck, if we get rid of Hossa. We can have both Z and Franzen. It seems Babcock has been trying Hossa on all the lines, and nothing has worked to get him scoring again. I realize it hasn't been that long since he has scored, but Z has proven to be consistant with this team...year after year. Heck, with all of the money we have been paying Hossa you would think he would be leading the team in scoring. I say get rid of him. Any team will pick him up, and we will continue on as we have always done.

I can remember last February when we lost Nick. Didn't we only win one game that month? This might be a scary time. I hope the rest of the D can pull it togather. I missed last nights game versus the Aves, so I don't have any info on what's going on. Hopefully he can get better real soon.

Avery's latest comment was nothing more than trash talking. How many times has that line been said after someone has stolen someone's girl friend? Give me a break. Avery should have known he would've been gone the next time he opened his mouth. Ever since last season in the playoffs he has been in Bettman's crosshairs.

Wow, that's all I can say. The Canadians are owning us in this one. Maybe we shouldn't have sent McCarty down for Helm. He has been cross checked a bunch of times, and hasn't done a thing about it. However, Hossa showed some awesome team spirit when he checked that Canadian to the ice..right after the Canadian cross checked either Helm or Kopecky. He shouldn't have recieved a penelty for it, or the refs should have taken both of them. Come on Wings, pull it togather in the 3rd.

Really excited about tonight's game. Our #1 line, Hossa-Dats-Hommer, seems good for 2 goals a game so far. At the beginning of the season I wasn't liking Hossa to much. Boy, has he ever been getting comfortable with Datsyuk! After watching them play Atlanta and the Hawks...Hossa's freak'n awesome! I'll never forget that shootout goal against the Hawks...priceless.

It's impossible for Lebda to be the worst in the NHL...He's from Notre Dame! Oh, I also agree with the person who said something about making the team through training camp. This is very true. Sort of makes you wonder how bad the guys who didn't make the team were.

I was just flipping through the channels, and I saw a press confrence with the Hawk's brass on the chicago comcast channel. It's official-Quinville is the new head coach. It will be interesting to see what he does with all of that young talent.

I think it is cool. Especially as gift from your friends. What an awesome gift. I can remember watch Christmas Vacation, and seeing Chevy Chase wearing a Blackhawk's Griswold jersey. I thought that was the coolest jersey of all time!

Really glad to hear of Downey clearing waivers. He is a team/role player that our team needs. I sort of wish it was DMac that was waived, but it's nice to have both.

I just ordered center ice, and I got the nhl network with it!!!! Oh, man. I am so jazzed! I have Dish Network. I guess it really does make a difference when you complain about blackouts between networks! This is the best day ever!

Sort of off subject, but for some reason I associate Clement with Melrose. I just wanted to say that it will be nice not to hear from Smellrose this year. It will also be nice to wipe the ice with the Lightning this year.

Lids has worked so hard for all of that. I am glad to see he has a kick ass place, nice cars, and better yet-a nice looking family. He deserves all of that and more.
