I don't understand what is holding the NHL back from penalizing these hits to the head immediately I remember when Shaun Avery was swinging his stick in front of Brodeur the next day they changed the rules. I hope he gets at least 5 games.

I agree the team has been very good since the Olympics now that everyone is healthy (sorry Maltby) if they gets on a roll in the playoffs they are going to be a tough team to stop. (btw did anyone notice that Maltby seemed to be very uncomfortable during the intermissions on FSN last night?)

I am really glad to hear that and I really hope that Lilja is going to be back soon. I am starting to feel more confident in our chances of making the playoffs especially with all the people coming back.

Listened to him this morning his voice was a bit rough but there were several times where he made me laugh. I hope to hear him more often on the radio. I think he could be very good.

Miller has been way better for the Wings this year I had no idea who he was before the wings picked him up. I thought he was just going to be a body for the wings to throw on the ice during all the injuries but he has quickly established himself as a quality 3rd or 4th liner even when we get everyone healthy. I honestly cannot say the same about Leino and am seriously disappointed at how badly he has sucked this year.

This is an interview with the Kings Anze Kopitar http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog.php?post_id=15142 in the interview he says he would most like to play with Zetterburg or Iginla. What do you think about Anze Kopitar as a Wing when he becomes a free agent? Personally I like the idea of him playing for the Wings I think he is a good young forward who is also quite big (6-4 220).

I agree totally I thought it was a dirty hit and there shouldn't have been a penalty on that goal I'm just repeating what they said during the intermission.

the guys on cbc are saying it was a clean hit and that there should have been a penalty on the franzen goal I hope there is a suspension on that hit.

If we can beat them it would be nice although the way things have gone this year on the back end of back 2 back games not to mention not being able to be beat Colorado all year hopefully Colorado will sell all their players today
