Dammit...I'll have to stream the radio broadcast of the games until next Thursday. No hockey on tv while I'm in Kentucky. Only sports on the tube here is horse racing and Wildcat b-ball. Oh tonight's game...3-2 Chitown. Too many distractions around the team tonight.

Dammit... I had to fly to Kentucky today. Get in the hotel, power up the laptop and see this topic. I'm sure everyone has already covered every positive and negative on this trade, but I just want to say that I think its a risk the Wings had to take. Lets just hope Bert is motivated and plays like the guy we all hated so much years ago in the playoffs.

My first reaction (besides that he fights) was 'Wow, he actually looks pretty tall in that picture'. Then I had to remember it was Avery he was standing next to. -

Yeah, I agree he looked pretty good on the shootouts last season. But I would have rather seen Hudler take Friday night's attempt than Willy. The guy was just too cold to put in a spot like that. EDIT: spelling -

Another positive about this trade... We don't have to see Williams half-speed shootout attempts any more. Watch tomorrow's game go to one and he actually gets a shootout goal on us!!!
