He had heart and emotion 4 or 5 years ago. Imo should have hung up the skates after last season. I also believe he is more of a distraction than a leader in the locker room. I wouldn't even trade Williams or Lilja for him.

Its been widely speculated that LaRoque is heading to Pittsburgh to be kid Crosby's personal bodyguard.

Malone won't get moved until they get a bodyguard for Syd. From what I've heard he's one of only a few players Pittsburgh has that will watch Crosby's back.

Looked to me as if it was Biron that came out of the net first to challenge Emery. Emery could have given Biron a much worse beating. Once he punched him to the ground he stopped throwing them and actually let him get back up. That's when Peters jumped in and Emery had to fight again, laughing the whole time. Poor code by Peters. Not only is it a no-no to fight a goalie, Emery had just gotten done with a fight. If Emery didn't have all the goalie gear on I think Peters would have gotten the same beating as Biron. These teams play again Saturday. Could be real interesting.

I couldn't agree more with those of you who went to the Toronto game. If it wasn't for the Leafs fans it would have been one of the lamest atmospheres I saw this season. My entire row was empty for the majority of the game.

Depends a little bit on the opponent and what day of the week that game takes place. Weekend crowds are a little more vocal, but during the week quite a few people will leave at the beginning of the 3rd period regardless of the score. I've been to about 9 games and would have to say the Buffalo game was the loudest. And that was a weekday game...go figure.

Unfortunately he is just now getting more recognition around the league. Too late to garner any Hart consideration this season.

I really don't see much chemistry on the 2nd line right now. Any trade that gets made won't replace anyone on the first line.

Well when Anaheim was in their slump and the Sharks were playing well it looked like they could have possibly flipped positions. Doesn't look very likely now though.

A few weeks ago I would have said no way in hell do we play anyone other than San Jose/Anaheim if we don't win the division. But both those teams sure have stunk it up as of late. Those long east coast trips must take there toll just like when the Wings travel West for 4-5 game stretches. Edit: I think we'll win the division and play Minnesota in the first round. It sure would be nice to avoid the long travel early in the playoffs.

Do we all agree we need to put someone else for #4? Lapointe sure played his way off my wishlist last night. That contract looks even worse too.

Depends on who the player is and what kind of contract we're talking about. IMO Glen Murray's contract will keep him from going anywhere, regardless of how badly Boston wants to rid themselves.
