I hear all this talk about how its either Sopel or Meech for the Wings 7th D spot but IMO they should both make it and Lilja's contract should be bought out. Meech deserves a shot and it will be a shame if he does not get his chance with the wings. Sopel has a cannon from the point and he would replace Schneider back there. I don't understand why this organization is so high on Lilja... I understand he is a big body but he doesnt do anything with it. Sopel is also a big body who doesnt use it as much as he should. What do u guys think? Sopel, Lilja, or Meech?

With the new lineup and lack of acquiring a top six forward, is it Huddles time to shine? I hear all this talk about Grigerenko this and Grigs that but the bottom line is that Huddles, when given a chance, can score. The kid scored 15 goals last year with 4th line ice time. I think if he was with Z and homer he would score 25 goals easily. I keep hearing reports on how he AGAIN may be the odd man out and might spend most of this season in the press box.... what do u think will happen? I hope the lil guy gets a chance this year to prove that he can play with the big boys... HP96

until the sharks get some defense they will only make it to conference semis.... they just dont match up well defensively against the wings or the ducks.
