I think Darcy Tucker would be a great addition to the wings. I know his numbers aren't great this year but he is the type of forward I think that we need. Toronto is cleaning house and he could be obtained for little.

michigan is straight up sick this year. my bowling green falcons are good too so its a great ncca season for me. i'm going to GLI it should be awesome.

what an ignorant thing to say.... just because the Wings sign a black player doesn't mean that more people will come to see him play because Detroit has a large population of african americans. When the Wings had Nathan Robinson, I didn't see more people in the stands because of it.... Ticket prices must be lowered but the NHL also needs to do things to become more personal with the fan. Autograph signings, meet the players, open practices, contests, all need to be done.

IMO trading for Sundin is not worth it. There is 0% of him resigning and even if we win the cup with him, we lose prospects who we have been grooming and developing for years. Not even close to worth it. Trading draft picks is one thing.... but trading players that have been in the system forever for a rental with no chance in resigning is something I don't see Kenny doing.... which is why the Wings stay good for so long. Hossa however I would trade for. The reason for this is because I think he would be a great fit with Datsyuk. If the Wings could somehow free up some cap space to trade for Hossa and they talk to Hossa about possibly resigning... this would be a great signing for the wings. I would say Hudler, Kopecky, Ericson, plus 1st and incentives on how far wings make it into the playoffs would be a good deal.

avery is a great player to have on your team and even though he doesnt fit with the wings philsophy... i still wish we had him.

i swear the people who are obsessed with osgood on this site crack me up... the guy is a great BACKUP. There is NO WAY that Holland will start him next year. Ozzie is havin a great year so far, but he only plays well in the backup role.

why people are bashing iginla is beyond me. this guy is a phenomenal player, and IMO the best captain in the game now that Yzerman has retired. He will do ANYTHING for his team... whether its score a goal, make a big hit, or even drop the mits if he has to. So what if he started s*** w/ Schneider... his team was playing terrible and he was trying to get something going to carry over into the next game... you people make no sense because I dont see anyone who was bitching about Cheli's cheap shot on Thorton the first sharks game....
