Wow... another player is injured?
-
At the last wings home game, I was in the upper bowl and some taller dude was leaning forward in his seat. Me being short couldn't see. But what pissed me off more was the fact that he had an illegal camera, so he was only leaning forward to take pictures (not too sure how he got that in). I don't mind someone leaning forward to see better, but doing so to take pictures with a camera that is illegal in Joe Louis, angered me.

Try and take the season one game at a time. What is that game, two weeks away?
-
Yeah, he definitely had to do that. I believe he said that he actually feared for his life, because people were so pissed with the move. I get what he was saying, but yeah, I don't do quite enough.
-
I think it got deleted pretty recently.
-
Not too sure. Probably around 4-ish. Maybe people continued to insult, causing the moderators to shut it down.
-
I noticed that. I just went to go on it and it wasn't there. Maybe it was deleted or something. I know a moderator was on there early threatening to shut it down because of name calling or something.
-
Slightly off topic, but deals with people standing up. I hate when people show up 10 minutes late to games and then want to get to their seat. Leaving me unable to see. Last game that happened and I missed a goal.
-
Yeah!!! Only 2 points behind now.
-
Damn... nashville is 6-2 in SO

Did anyone watch hockey night in canada yesterday, when they had Edmonton's general manager on after hours to talk to him about trading Ryan Smyth. He was seriously almost in tears. I felt semi-bad for the guy.
-
True. It could have been an important phone call. There was just an arrogance about him, on his cell phone, in his really nice suit that completely turned me off from him I met Cleary last year in Columbus. He seemed very nice, even cracking a few jokes.
-
I am slightly alarmed, because with those points we could easily be first in the conference. But in the playoffs they play 5 v 5. And the playoffs are really though only thing that matters. Wasn't Dallas unbelievable in OT last year and look where that got them.
-
Not just because I don't like him as a player, but I would have to say that Lilja was basically the only rude Wing I have ever met. I went to Columbus last year and he was the only Wing not to stop and sign autographs. He was on his cell phone, acting like he was too good for everyone.
-
Seriously. When I went to an autograph session where he and Zetterberg were at, I took a picture of Hank. When I got it developed, I saw that Holmstrom had stuck his head in with Zetterberg. It actually turned out to be a good picture.

I met the Grind Line a few years ago. I have met many current/past Wings and would have to say they were by far the nicest of all of them. They actually shook my hand, stood up for pictures, and small talked.
-
That is quite freaky. The look he is giving him is almost evil
-
LOL... well, I guess respectable compared to now,
-
I remember back in like 2004-ish there were like 10 regulars out of the line-up due to injury/rest. And the Wings still managed to go on a winning streak.
-
OMG!!! How embarassing. I wish they would had been more discrete about the injury.
-
Yeah. I definitely have been impressed by Calder. He has like 3 points in two games. I definitely didn't expect that much this soon. He has gelled really well with Lang and Franzen.
-
Just got back from the game. I can honestly say that I was actually impressed by Lang today. Not only did he score, but he worked hard, back checked and even hit. It was nice to see him finally have a strong overall game. Also, Calder really impressed me today. He is a huge upgrade to Williams (even though he had two goals today ).
-
I'll be going to this one, so the Wings better win.
-
I went a few years ago to the United Center when the blackhawks were respectable. There still were a bunch of Wings fans.
-
I guess even mediocre players are capable of some brillant moments every now and then.
