Didn't this happen the year we won the cup? With like half the team coming down with injuries/illnesses? And with lots of grand rapids players, I believe they went on a winning streak. So heres to hoping that happens.

Me too! I said before the game, Datsyuk would have to play a really good game for the Wings to win and he definitely did. No one on the Blackhawks could bascially touch him out there.

I almost feel semi-bad for Williams. Going from the best in the west, to one of the worst teams in the NHL... oh well.

I definitely think that one on Calder should at least be fined, if not suspended. It was not only a hit from behind, but he leaped into Calder. But of course, it probably won't.

True true. I remember that. It was pretty awesome. I just hope that Calder is a little more better than what Cross was!! Didn't Cross eventually become our seventh defenseman, pretty much rendering him useless.

LOL But seriously, I just have a bad feeling about today's game (sorry for the pessimism), with Hank out in all. But hopefully someone else will pick it up.
