YES! But I wouldn't sign him for what he's making now. More like between 2.5-3 million. However, I am not too sure he would stay for anything less than what he is making now.

Todays game can in all reality only go up from the last game. I will go with, the Wings win a close one, 3-2 (Cleary, Lang, Holmstrom).

Schneider's amount of shot taking usually doesn't bother me, because he has such a hard slapper. But, today he actually pissed me off (as did most of the Wings )... I believe it was in the second period. We were on a 3 v 2 and he shot it from the blue line... why?!!

Know what is sad? If we don't/can't trade Lilja, we are stuck with him for ANOTHER year. Who actually gave him a two year deal anyway?!!

What I don't get about Lilja is, he is one of the biggest players on the ice, yet he is consistenly the one getting nailed, ending up on the ice.

Agree!! How long has it been since the Wings played a total 60 minute game (except last game, when even then they took 10 minutes off to make the game semi-scary).

This game makes me feel like we need someone other than Forsberg. The Wings were just physically dominated the entire game... I even think I saw Lilja go flying along the boards in the second period.

Sorry... just trying to find some optimism. The Wings obviously need to trade for someone. But, they haven't done too bad with the team they currently have. They will come back sharp on Wednesday.

The Wings were simply fatigued (and perhaps in need of Markov/Hasek)... they will come back strong on Wednesday.

I really just don't get it. Cleary gets hooked while we are on a pp and they get nothing. We do the same, and they get to go on a 5 v 3.

Yeah! I was at that game!! I was so happy that Michigan came back from 3-0 to tie the game. I was so relieved.

Totally!!! But to be fair to Michigan, wasn't Jack Johnson and Andrea Cogliano at the world juniors?

I love the Notre Dame bashing. I strongly dislike them, especially because they swept Michigan this year in hockey...
