Watching Williams out there (along with many others) was excrutiating. Williams looks afraid to go into the corners and get dirty. He does not fit at all with draper/miller. The gator would accomadate them much more nicely. Also, as for williams on the pp, I feel like he is a short handed goal waiting to happen. Please babcock, get him out of there.

Yes, happy birthday to gordie howe. They had a short video at the game to celebrate his bday and the crowd gave him a nice ovation. Another amazing birthday, was that 107yr old lady who was at the game all decked out in her wings gear. She got a standing ovation and even the players were banging their sticks.

My family can usually tell if the wings lose or win based on my mood. No, hockey isn't everything, but it emotionally drains you sometimes, especially in the playoffs. So yeah, I will be a little pissed if the wings lose and that is okay, as long as it doesn't last too long

Besides what most people have said (officiating, tv, crosby), how about the fact that a decades long tradition like the swinging the octopus has to be done off the ice. And I think it is dumb that you get an extra two minutes for making a guy bleed. It could be the most brutual high stick, but if he doesn't bleed, two minutes only. And all the talk of making a no touch icing rule. That happens in NCAA hockey and it slows the game down so much.
