I saw this earlier. Just another classy move by the Illitch's. He could make millions of dollars selling those spaces and instead, he chooses to show support for Detroit, for free.

I went to the Dan Cleary signing last Friday and had a pair of game worn skates of his. I didn't want to spend $20 per skate to get signed, so I just decided on getting one signed. The guy sitting next to Cleary was adimant about making sure I only got one signed. And when I got to Cleary he told him to sign only one. Cleary told him that was ridiculous and signed my other skate too. He was not how I imagined. He was very nice, talkative, stood up for pictures, shook hands. Employees at Hockeytown Authentics had told me he was an ass, so I was surprised. So it got me thinking, what was the best player experience you ever had?

It is going to be a rough week for me, so hopefull the Wings will help me get it started on the right foot Hoping for a score of 7-2 Wings.... but they are playinf the wild and haven't been playing weel, so it will most likely be 3-2. Did anyone see on Hockey Night, they had the Wings as the second hottest team since February. I literally laughed out loud, but they did have the record to prove it.

LMAO! During the game I came up with a list of players who were playing with passion: Datsyuk, Hossa, Franzen.

Anyone have any inspirational words to offer? I am feeling very very pessimistic.

I personally think the wings should have goalie auditions. Michigan football has open tryouts for kickers, so why not the wings and a goalie? I am kidding, but it makes me think how much worse they could be.

I just don't understand. I feel like the wings have played pretty s***ty all year and yet they are still the 2 seed in the west. It makes me wonder if they feel like they can coast along until the playoffs and magically turn it on. I hope they can, but it is doubtful.

And to think I almost spent money to go watch this game.

I think this game shows how this isn't just a goalie problem. This issue goes much deeper. It isn't even all the defensemen's fault. The forwards aren't pl;aying good in their zone either. I am feel less and less good about the playoffs. It is hard enough to repeat when you are playing well, but when your defense, goaltender and special teams are mediocre at best... lets just say it isn't looking so promising.

You know I know murder-for-hire is an absolutely awful crime, but the circumstances surrounding that whole situation seemed so shady, that I am rooting for the guy. That said, 4+ years out of hockey is a very very long time, he has a lot going against him. I wonder who would take a chance on him with his crime and all the time out of hockey and conditioning.

I said before the game. If the wings can't get motivated for this game what can they for? I mean the last game against nashville they got killed, they are coming off of a shutout against the lowly islanders, and this could be a possible first round opponent.

I am usually not pessimistic, but if the wings continue playing like this forget the stanley cup, they probably won't make it out of the first round. They have the talent, but it just doesn't click.

I think Ozzie just needs to be done. It isn't neccessarily all his fault. Yes, he lets in weak goals sometimes. But this team plays horrible in front of him all the time.

Dammit dammit. Thats two penalties by cheli that led to goals.... ugh.

I feel like every season, the WIngs go on a really good streak, like 9-10 game winning streak. This season they just haven't been able to put that kind of run together. Maybe, they are saving it for the playoffs... I hope.

Nice to see. Our 5 on 3 pp is usually worse than our 5 on 4 pp.

Now would be a nice time to get the powerplay back on track.
