I believe that is what they did the the first installment of the Mighty Ducks. The goal sucked. Bombay tied him to the posts and let everyone shoot at him. All of a sudden he became a great goalie.

I miss the days when Larry Murphy going between the benches was a monthly occassion. Now it is every freakin game. He is okay, I just like Mick and Ken alone. Wow. 0-3. Ouch.

I will admit it, I am overly critical of Flip and Kopecky. But these last games, I can't believe I am saying this, they have been really really good.

With a comment like that I think you are the one looking like a dumbass. Back to the topic, I agree. This was one of the best all-around played games for the Wings (apart from the San Jose game). Good to see Kopecky looking really good, Downey fighting and Ozzie looking confident. Those two things can only mean good things to come. As for Hossa, Babs said that Hossa actually asked the doctors if he would be okay to play tomorrow...lol. Now, thats dedication.

What a piss-poor period. Wings were sloppy and looked tired. I seriously couldn't name a player (other than Ozzie, which sounds weird to say) that played well. Best shift of the period there.

A penalty. Definitely. But "dirty". That's a joke. Cleary went in for the hit and Thornton turned. How in the world is that dirty? Either way, though, Thronton wasn't hurt and it seemed to get him off of his game.

Oh yeah. Good ole' theo fleury. This is kinda random, but does anyone remember when he was with the Rangers and he took a run at Chelios and completely missed and went really hard into the boards? That is how I will always remember Fleury. Anyways. I also I have a weird hatred for Turco that I can't quite figure out. I mean he went to Michigan and he usually losing to the Wings. What is there to hate?
