The amount of years scare me a little, but I am super excited to have him back! He is amazing and I am glad to see that he and Datsyuk will be a staple in the Wings organization for years to come!!!

Ovechkin has the personality and the skills to be one of the many faces of the NHL. He is likable and you can tell he is having a good time. Everytime he scores it looks like the first time he has ever scored. He really looks like he is enjoying himself. Crosby has the skill, but not the personality. It really is too bad Crosby doesn't have Ovechkins personality, I probably wouldn't hate him so much. Anyone remember the commercial with a bunch of players in the hotel? That commercial was the best. I loved when Ovechkin ordered a bunch of food for Crosby. Funny stuff.

That is my personal favorite.

The game had no meaning before this to me, but I would have at least turned it on to see the score. I am all for boycotting.

He seems pissed, as he should be. This whole thing is ridiculous, especially with Nick Lidstrom. No respect there. I would like to see how many times players have missed an allstar game due to "injury" in the past. Who is to say who is hurt and who isn't.

The NHL is a joke. I feel like this has been going on for years and now they decide to implement the "rule". So missing the NHL game is equivilant to some dirty hit that also gets a one game suspenion. Lame. There goes Pavels lady byng. Is this Lidstrom's first suspension of his career?

Doesn't sound like anything that some time off couldn't fix. Stuart on the otherhand doesn't sound so promising: knee, head, shoulder, ribs. He needs this break more than anyone.

Not suprised. This seems like it is becoming an annual event. No doubting his talent, but can he stay healthy? Who knows.

So true. It is those damn sticks. A ref sees a stick break and he automatically thinks it was slashed. Not to get on a Mickey/Daniels rant, but those sticks break so easily.

Not to state the obvious, but the defense kind of sucks (minus Lidstrom of course).

OMG. Another penalty... damn you Kronwall. Slashing is the penalty of choice for the refs today.
