This team needs some sort of wake-up call. But if I knew how/what to do, I guess I would be the coach then. I so badly want to see Ozzie do well, but he just looks like he is struggling so badly, no confidence and no luck.

Yes, but one good shift doesn't make up for so many average ones. I love Flip, but not on a line with them two.

Why does Flip get to play with Hossa and Franzen. His play brings that line way down. At least the wings are better off now than at the end of the first.

Did I just see that the Wings have 11 turnovers and the avs have 1? That can't be right, I must have seen that wrong.

I feel like there has been numerous times where the puck was centered in the offensive zone and they aren't looking ready for the pass, even though they are open. Need more overall awareness of the puck... I am encouraged to see the wings playing a little better.

My question, what was Rafalski doing all the way down there? I am happy he was though

Well thank God this period is over. Good news: the Avs haven't scored in like 15 minutes.

LOL... I know!! It isn't bad enough that they are in love with the avs, they go on and on about random s***.

Even if the Wings wanted to start playing, they couldn't because of all of these damn penalties.

Considering some of the anonymous quotes from Stars' players, I am not suprised. It will be interesting to see where he ends up, if anywhere at all. He could always do fashion right? Wasn't he an intern at like Vouge over the summer?

Why do so many people want to get rid of Cleary? He has a no trade clause. Wasn't it Vokoun who called the Wings cocky a couple years back?

I would like to believe that these calls/non-calls eventually even out. Today's game was brutal for the reffing. Twice in the last 5 minutes there was blatant holding, one happened seconds before the 4th Phoenix goal. So the ref's non-call led indirectly to the goal. He calls it and that goal never happens. If they don't call that, then they shouldn't be calling those sissy "hooking" penalties. I don't know what to do about the inconsistencies and how to fix them. I guess we are all human and things that we see on television aren't as evident to the refs as they are to us.

I am watching the game again. Back-to-back games. I can actually pay attention and not be so nervous now.

I did read in the Freepress yesterday that Pavel has a sore ankle and Hossa has a sore groin. That said, both looked good today, so I am not too worried about that.

I don't know what was more nice, Zetterberg's deke, Hudler's SO goal or Ozzie's stick save. All a thing of beauty.
