What is the most sad part of the game is that the lone Wings' goal came from Flip on a nice pass/shot from Draper Anyways, I hope the team responds and gets going... but who knows Kidding... 3-2.

My thought exactly. I may be biased (since he is my favorite player), but he has been playing really well since his return.

I was impressed with the wings work ethic today. They responded well to Babcock calling the team out, saying they weren't working hard enough.

I think it is hilarious that hillard plays one period and gets the loss. I guess that whole thing backfired (even though Gigure was "dehydrated")

Good overall game. The intensity was way better. While I would have liked to have seen more goals scored by the Wings, I am thrilled that the defense played well. A very dominating performance. And yes the ducks were probably tired after playing last night, but how many times do the wings play back-to-back? Answer: alot.

This team is unbelievably bipolar. For two periods they play well and the third they forget how to play. Happens like that for many of the games. -

Ozzie played very well and deserved the win. Team looked like they lost their legs from the third period on. Perhaps tired after all these road games, I don't know. But the Wings finally get to go home for two straight games. 2-0-1 in Canada isn't too shabby (sorry trying to be optimistic ) -

LOL... is it sad that I have seen it 3 times and it has only been out since Friday? Anyways, back to some hockey. Start of the third. -
I think Lilja is a very strong fifth-defender. And he is a beast blocking shots. And after today's game (2 points), I would have to agree. He is definitely hot by his standards. Has he ever had a multi-point game?

Overall a very satisfying game. But seriously, if someone would have asked me the three least likely players to get on the score board I would have said: Lebda, Lilja, and Maltby.

I love how a thread about Malkin turns into a thread about crosby. I love crosby bashing I am glad to see so many people share my annoyance with him. This thread brings memories of therrian saying obstruction like 100x in a post-game conference. It was almost comical.

I find Murphy so annoying. I dread away games, knowing that he will be the broadcasting. He is so cautious about criticizing a call, player. ref. Whereas Redmond and Daniels call it like it is. Just my opinion, but I don't like him as a broadcaster. If I hear him say Johnny on the Spot one more time I am going to scream -
