LOL... totally guilty of that. You know your a wings fan if you have bought every song they play at the Joe on your IPod and listen to it on game day, I can see clearly now, irish jig (although not anymore), do the lang, ect. Also if, you go on vacation with your family to some tropical location, but decide to stay in the hotel room and watch the Wings on tv instead of laying out in the sun. -

Went to the round one, game 5 vs. Calgary. By far the best playoff game I have ever went too. So much fun and totally worth the cost.

I remember reading about Markov with Nashville and how he would smoke a ciggarete in between periods. May not be the most healthy thing, but he is such a bad ass. I love him.

I am just sad because my least favorite team in the entire NHL is now going to the finals and because October is sooo far away. What ever am I going to do for over 4 months without hockey ?

Same here. But I actually couldn't stand them when they acquired Pronger. Always have and will hate him I am just disappointed. I gave it my all and rooted for Lang and the Wings still lost.

I was actually surprised at the level of calmness here. Compared to last year with Edmonton, this is semi-civil (except for a bit of Hasek bashing (???)).

I know. I feel horrible about that. He played so well during these playoffs and throughout the year. He deserved it. But I guess it just wasn't meant to be. Well, there's always next year (and of course, they better give him a nice long extension).

LOL. That's my whole reasoning for wanting the Sens to win too. Plus, I never liked Neidermyer either, even if he is good.

That always cracked me up when people said it was a rebuilding year. The Wings took first in the west, where are they suppose to rebuild from (except the cup)? Great season, just came up a little short

While I am super disappointed, I feel a lot better now than I did when the Wings were losing 4-1 for some reason. I am just glad to see them make it a game (even though they were way late).... Look forward to see what will happen in July during free agency. That said, go sens!

They definitely gave it their all. When it was 4-1, I was almost in tears, but making it 4-3, at least they never game up..... it is just so depressing because October seems like forever away. -
The Robert Lang one against San Jose was definitely the best. But I also enjoyed the Cleary penalty shot one too.

While I like Kopecky, he isn't doing anything sitting on the bench for but 3 minutes a game. I would much prefer Hudler. But for some reason babcock likes Calder (even though I like him) and Kopecky more.

Yeah, he sure did play good. It's too bad that turnover overshadows his game 5 performance. I actually felt bad for him when the camera zoomed in no him... anyways, because I still believe, I think it will be Wings in 5.

This thread is almost making me feel semi-optimistic. I would love for this series to mirror that of the Avs one of 2001-2002.

After the game 5 loss, I felt a sense of doom. But after calming down a bit, I feel a little better. The Wings played pretty good the last two games. Maybe the Wings will pull a 2001-2002 and win the next two (like they did the Avs).

Yeah. NBC did it yesterday for the Buffalo/Sens game. The Preakness was on, so they transfered the game over to verses. Luckily I have verses, but could you imagine not having it? That would suck. -
I can't believe we have to wait until Sunday for this game. That is just cruel.
