LOL.. I am the same way. My family loves the Pistons and I can't stand basketball. So between the two, it isn't even close.

I pretty much agreed with most of what Cherry said. I just had a problem with what he said about Hasek, making it seem like he had a cake-walk last game. Yes he saw many shots, but he also came back with some huge saves as well.

Questionable play, yes. Cheap shot, no. While it is easy to hate him now, I still think he is a class act, who may have simply lost his cool.

Go Lang!! That said, I am expecting a huge game from Bert. Whether it be on the score sheet or physically, I don't really care. Just feeling a good game from him.

Even though it was definitely ugly, I was relieved by it. In years past, the Wings were the ones losing this game.

That's well said, with Giggy's quote. Those bounces don't happen unless the Wings crash the net. I give him credit for saying that. Some people might, hopefully jokingly be predicting a sweep. But I think it is going to be far from it. This series is going to be long and hard fought.

Yeah, it is obviously true that the bounces did go the Wings way (thank God for that), but I guess I just get annoyed when players just use that as an excuse, when not just a few bounces win an entire game.... anyways, this game could have gone either way, making for a very interesting game 2.

In games, there is usually a ton of trash talking throughout it. So I don't take much in to what he said. That said, it was pretty funny. I know I laughed when I heard it.

I totally noticed that. My sister and I were cracking up at how excited he got. Nice to see that kind of emotion. That said, I am getting sick of hearing some players say that basically the only reason the Wings won was because of bounces. How about good defense? Good goaltending?

Lilja was pretty amazing out there, especially on the 5 v 3. I was very impressed. I was just thinking how funny it was that earlier in the season I could barely stand to look at him and ever since that fight, he has been a totally different player. It's nice to see him good for things other than breaking his stick and turn overs.

I must say, I thought Datsyuk played extremely well today, even mixing it up a little. IMO, he did basically whatever he wanted around Pronger today.

I almost died when messier said those comments. No will my ass. I think I saw 3 players dive to block the puck at the end (even lang did, I believe). That's will.
